They’ve literally said since last year there would be previews

Free previews? Half price previews? Nearly full price previews? Previews that sell out? Previews where all you have to do is book a hotel room or have the credit card? Previews on the back end of TMs being able to take you as a friend?

Hence why I said people didn't know at the time.

Annual…pass….previews. They were always gonna happen so It was kinda dumb to purchase AP add on tickets instead of waiting till today and complaining about how long you have to wait online to switch.

Not all AP holders live in the Orlando area. Many are doing it in conjunction with a trip/vacation.

I mean we’re a month out from opening so out of state of people switching isn’t really relatable if they are now switching this close to opening.

People have been waiting 6+ years for this park to open. They want to see it. And they can.

End of story.

So here’s a question - if you were getting to Orlando let’s say a week ahead of grand opening, and previews were extended to run up to the day before, would you attend a preview or wait for your first experience of the park to be the grand opening?

I’d personally try to get in as early and often as possible. That way you can enjoy the atmosphere of opening day without worrying as much about riding everything.

Good point - but let’s also say that in this (purely hypothetical) scenario you also have tickets for the 24th and 26th and Express for all three days :lmao:

I didn’t commit to purchasing the AP epic add on ticket because I knew I wanted to go to the AP previews no matter what, so it would make sense to wait for the preview tickets right?, instead of now having to call and wait however long to switch to preview tickets and complaining about it. But for the sake of argument like I said in a previous post let’s move on I’m done with it.

Finally got for May 4th. Had to call to get my legacy pass issues back added to account. Then waited like 4 hours in line, but we’re going. Figured May gives time to work the kinks out some more.

My post had absolutely nothing to do with any of this - I’m flying over from the UK for the grand opening but I’m getting there almost a week before. I don’t know if I would want to attend a preview if they’re still ongoing or wait for my first experience of the park to be the grand opening, which is why I asked the question.

I’m not going to be trying to switch any of my add on tickets to preview tickets and I’m also not complaining about anything.

Got my ticket for the 18th. Really excited and fingers crossed MoM can get its act together or else will prolly look to return June to clean up anything not able to be done at preview.

Trying to decide if we bring our 11 month old or not.. I know shade is a problem, but a toothless photo might be the cutest thing ever.
