Dates really seem to sell out then become available again for passholders. Do we speculate people are just moving their ticket dates around, already increasing capacity or moving the available ticket buckets around?

I am going to the AP preview for tomorrow. Seemingly, wait lines are long and from what I've heard it is recommended I buy an express pass. Is this true? And if so how/where do I go to get one when in the park?

Check the Universal app, right now (2:20 pm eastern) it's showing:
MoM: delayed
Monsters: 45 minutes
DK: 45
Mario: 45
Fyre Drill: 45
Werewolf: 40
Dragon Racer's: 25
Yoshi: 25
Hiccups: 15
Stardust: 15
Carousel: 5

Not sure how accurate these are.

Based on the data from yesterday and today, wait times spike up first thing in the morning and then by this time they are manageable. Just pulled this from thrill data for 2:28 PM today, Friday, April 18. Those wait times are fantastic.

Bumping this message, I'm assuming the lack of response means they have no options, but wondering if they booked a night at any of the uni hotels incl endless summer or any of the cheap ones for one person, could they buy 3 x Epic preview tickets? Sorry for all the questions, but trying to see what hail Mary options are out there for them :)

They would have to book the room for 3 guests as you have to have a room key for each person getting a preview ticket. I don’t know that everyone has to be present at purchase but you have to have a key for each at purchase. The Reddit threads are full of people booking 1 night to get tix and having no issues.

How much are the tickets for hotel guest? I'm hearing conflicting things from Terra Luna. Between $120 - $200 but no one seems to know exactly at the current moment. I understand fluctuating prices but would it really fluctuate that much during the previews?

It’s between those amounts depending on the day I believe. Average 170 I think?

The low crowds at AP previews have me pricing up flying over from the UK for just two days between now and when we come out in just a few weeks for the Grand Opening.

I’m torn as it seems completely ridiculous, but I’m worried that crowds will be much, much higher from the 22nd onwards.

I don't think you're crazy, but I'd consider two things:

  • Both shows are having technical issues that could prevent the entire day's worth of shows to be cancelled
  • An attraction could be completely down the entire day
  • Ministry Virtual Line is a bit of a mess

But yes, it'll be the quietest the park will ever be. I took a photo of the 15-min wait posted wait on DK at park close last night to commemorate the lowest it'll ever be lol

Honestly the main reason why I haven't hopped down from Jersey. I don't want to spend the money and be disappointed if the VQ doesn't work out, or if rides/shows aren't open

True - but it’s likely these will still be issues come the Grand Opening, after which the larger crowds will compound their effects.

At present we’re due to get to Orlando on Sat 17th, which means that we may have the opportunity to attend a preview on the 18th or 19th if they’re still ongoing - but I imagine the 20th and 21st will be media days etc so limited opportunity.

Not really sure what to do.

so I’m unable to move my Sept AP ticket due to having an expired AP, has anyone been turned down for the hotel tickets?

I booked 1 night Terra Luna hotel now that previews are extended to 19 May.
If Epic Park Tickets are still available at hotel, can I get a ticket on check-in day and another ticket on check-out day?
Thanks.

That sucks. I downgraded my preferred to a power pass, so it’s still linked to my old expired pass. I want to switch my date and I’m hoping it won’t be an issue since I technically still have an AP.

I have booked to come April 2026 from the UK and the 14 day Universal parks ticket has no limitations on number of Epic days so you could spend all 14 there if you wanted! They must be expecting demand to have calmed down a bit by then. I wonder what park(s) will be open for the early hours access at that time. We are staying at Universal endless summer Surfside.
