Problem with having a legacy two park pass is I can never really upgrade without screwing my price up. Hopefully they offer an epic AP only.

I went from two-park to three-park pretty smoothly when it came out.

Now the trick will be to get this next upgrade right. Especially when people (like me) want to drop VB.

Both can be true, I think. Obviously I don't know about the North Campus AP claim; but I struggle to see how they fit APs and TMs in Epic as it exists alongside single-day guests. I was wondering if Epic would see a pre-HHN season attendance drop a few months back, and it never happened. Epic is as jam-packed as ever with not enough high-capacity attractions to make for a comfy visit.

Unless they limit APs and TM passes to reservation only / after 4PM like has been discussed before, I can only predict that adding those groups would make visiting the park less enjoyable for everyone.

and....Universal is still limiting access with a mid twenties thousand daily ticket ceiling. The capacity problem is far reaching and will probably
cripple the AP base, which will ultimately hurt IOA and USF. Universal has quite the puzzle to solve.....Probably the reason there's so many AP surveys circulating. But they're not going to be able to retain AP'ers with stuff like free magnets and one night events.

Interesting how all the possible perks listed in surveys never included adding Epic as part of the pass… only “additional discounts on single day Epic Universe tickets” and here we are.

Or so I’ve heard.

That says a lot.......And, as the AP membership numbers sink into the sunset, how does Universal replace that very significant number of
USF and IOA guests. That low Epic capacity, for whatever reason be it budgets or to sell lots of Express passes, was very shortsighted.

The AP surveys circulating around that I've seen now are mostly tied to UOAP appreciation month. I think they're just trying to figure out what people actually want out of it and what will draw folks in. (Lots of talk about UC interviews, more UOAP nights, etc.)

Universal has a vested interest in selling Annual Passes with Epic Universe... especially by the time Disney's investments start to open in 2027.

Just disappointing as an avid Universal fan that I won't be allowed in with an AP until who knows. Shame the park was not built with capacity in mind.

I'm just glad they're finally adding it to the multi-day passes the right way and cutting out the "one day at Epic" nonsense.

I imagine a lot of this in Orlando (and SoCal, frankly) is cyclical, yeah? A family might have Disney passes for a couple years, drop those and then move to Universal for a couple years and so on and so on. So while it wouldn't surprise me to see the number of Universal APs drop, I don't see any reason to think that's permanent. Give Epic a little more time to improve its reliability and by the time they add a new attraction, perhaps they'll feel comfortable adding it to annual passes.

Myself, I'm fine with IOA and USF for AP, as long as there's no big price hike. I enjoy vacationing on site at the North Campus, and
probably wouldn't do Epic more than once or twice over a long vacation anyway. And, as a tourist that takes long vacations at Universal, the
AP hotel rates are more important to me than Epic. I'm comfortable staying on site and not having to travel to parks, like at WDW. But
I'm probably a small minority. Universal had a large increase in AP's the last few years, and most of that was probably in anticipation
of Epic, and was probably largely locals. Those are the ones that will probably let their passes expire. Some of the long time local AP's
might stay, some will leave. But I doubt they'll get more than a small amount of new AP's.
Bottom line though, I think they'll lose a significant number of APH once their passes expire. If Universal would have built the park with adequate
capacity, none of this would be necessary.

I've always assumed the same for locals - switch year over year. I know I couldn't afford to do both in a year, so I'm sure an average person would do this.

And of course.. once Epic is added to APs, it's safe to assume they'll spike right back up.

I have friends who work in park admissions. It shouldn't;take be any surprise that a large number of people didn't renew waiting for Epic to be added. Heck, today on Facebook alone scanning the ticket articles 45 people said they weren't renewing and 61 people said they'd not consider a pass until it's added. In other words, duh

Of course it's not permanent but right now Epic's gain is USF and IOAs loss. Those parks particularly depend on APs during slow season and with slow sales and low renewals thats gotta hurt.
