I don't think they would start testing now if the first official public rides were five months out. I'm thinking softs in February and a Spring Break official opening.

That would sound about right. What I’m getting uneasy about is how long it’s taking to build those scream shields. I’m sure they’re pushing to get this open by FFN at least.

Never thought I'd ever see a Doc Brown jumpscare. In my experience it helps that it's one of the spots I never thought you'd see him in. Even so, it's saying something that he's impressed considering it doesn't even hit 88 mph. XP

I wonder if the test wrap vehicles are capable of that.

They should have the mechanism on them; its just that at the moment, it’s disabled.

Also Five Fires was able to get a lot of angles of the rise testing in one short video.

I just had a thought: you think they might ever offer people to ride the coaster without the spinning for like special events? At the very least it could be for passholder events maybe, but now that I remember the scream shields and how they're positioned to be in tandem with certain spinning angles, maybe it's unlikely. It's an interesting idea with how these tests have shown the spinning is currently disabled.

I'm good with drifting but I honestly hope it doesn't do full 360s like the animations we've seen online.

I saw it running, what the max coaster time on this? Looks like the ride portion will be under 2 mins with how fast its moving

i feel like it wouldn’t be possible due to the ride system. Like the ride would fault if a car isn’t spinning.

Hm yeah, perhaps the physics of the ride were also designed with the spinning in mind. That said, I'm guessing the test footage isn't at full speed, right? Cause I'm sure they're probably trying to see if it can clear the track without the spinning in the first place, hence my thought.
