Ah. I was talking about a much earlier spec video.

been a minute since i've been on the forums so apologies if this has been discussed (i read through the last few pages and didn't see anything) -- do we have an estimated timeframe on opening? even a season that they're aiming for?

Universal just says 2026

We can speculate and I think most of us are assuming by Fan Fest it will be open and what they are aiming for

If we get lucky February or march for AP testing but they still have work to be done, the scream shields aren't 100% done along with ZERO theming for the ride yet on the ride and rumors are there will be something. So feels like it will be a tight race to open by April

I'm honestly in the camp of TM Previews by Late March, Softs throughout April for a Early May opening.

I'd argue as long as they can have the ride "Soft" during FFN, and open by Early May proper (and as thus then, running throughout the rest of FFN), things will be fine. If they're smart, they are likely coordinating this to be ready by the time they have the new security check stands for Central and EastSide ready to operate (and have WestSide be a "Temporary" means for the time being).

Small side speculation: I wonder if the Zebra train might actually be one of the main four train sets. We know they have had the main set out for testing the gates for load/unload, but I wonder if they might keep the Zebra Dodge Charger fleet just as a fun "We did this" thing as part of the set.

I hope so, I've seen many people here and online that are coming for Fan Fest...and have no plans on returning after so would be a bummer for so many to come to the park and the ride not be ready

This may sound like a strange change on a dime, but for once I'm not super torn about whether or not it opens by FFN. I just learned yesterday that I'll be having a major surgery in my left arm in March (just ~50 days before FFN), and I have no idea if it'll even be okay for me to do rides a month or so later.

I know my health comes first, but I'd probably be bummed to be forced to miss out on early previews of the ride. :(

The ride will still be there bud. If it makes you feel any better, I’m too broke to be riding this myself anytime soon either

Just got to the park and saw that they blocked off the queue entirely rather than putting windows here :(
The decisions that Creative continues to make for this ride in terms of the queue are truly puzzling.

I agree with you but also I will wait and see if there is a reason why

Maybe its to keep you in theme for this area with music or something like that

Seems like absolutely no budget went to the queue. Those red triangle tarps they have over this outdoor part of the queue are embarrassing.
