Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster (USH) - Opening 2026

I'm expecting 4th of July at the earliest now. This thing can't open/run if it doesn't spin and we've barely seen spinning tests.

Let’s pour out one for all of those who thought this ride would be open by Fan Fest Nights.

It really does sound like we probably won’t get any softs until June at the earliest at this point. May seems extremely optimistic.

I remember the posts here around late 2024 thinking this was going to open summer 2025. Good times.

Like I wish we could split the time line and see the different if it opened in Spring.

I would have loved to see how this coaster being opened would have affected Fan fest and spring break

Summer has been kind of lite the last two years, so I think this year it will have more guests thanks to the coaster and hopefully Mega Movie summer can add some things to help soak up the extra people

Teeeechnically if it’s open on opening weekend of HHN It would be open Summer.

Unfortunate it won't be ready in time for FFN (which I actually will be healed up enough by), but at least this'll be well after my surgery and I'll gladly take that.

From what I heard half years ago from employees, I guess 5 out of 4 has turn out correct!

1. Pass member preview of Hollywood Drift starts around mid-December.

2. Unexpectedly, the opening of Hollywood Drift is set to summer 2026 instead of spring.

3. Yes, the Simpson land close permanently in 2028 to accommodate new attractions and experiences (They are considering between Wicked or Pokémon)

4. Waterworld stays forever! There is no plan to replace the show whatsoever.

5. They did a vehicle spinning test on Saturday morning 11/8

Hopefully we get a preview on may!

We have no idea what The Simpsons plans are yet, and we don't know with any certainty what they're considering. Frontline team members can occasionally have tid bits of genuine info, but their word should never be treated as gospel.

There are lots of spray painted markings and numbers appear at the base of the Simpson Show building on back, forming a typical patterned code that documents the structures prior to demolition and signals planned reconstruction(in architecture, also we saw a lots of these pattern before demo in parks).

Also there has been lots of hint around about this property. Based on lots of infos we gathered beside public announcement from universal, I thought you have already informed on this, my argument is that we’ve got enough informations indicating Simpsons will close no later than 2028.
