Honest question: What more theming elements were you hoping for? A giant car garage doesn’t exactly demand a lot of interactive theming.
Since they want to make this "behind the movies" I'd say it would be mostly enclosed, with props from the movies and at the very least TV screens showing off behind the scenes. We have 10 movies and a spin off, I'd have something from each movie if possible and then a TV screen showing how a stunt was done from each film and if it can relate to the prop being shown as well great
Maybe have an engine from one of the cars and show how it works and have the engine rev up, same can be done for the cars suspension, videos on LA car culture, Maybe a wall that is blank but they project spay paint on until it makes some cool graffiti, Go behind the scenes and show how the ride was built and or how the cars work with the drifting, cast interviews about their favorite moments from the series with fun behind the scenes moments they can talk about
The ride is going to have mostly 90 mins Q+ and beyond the heat and or rain not really being protected from its just not that interesting of a Q.
Since USH was never going to spend much to theme the coaster the Q is the logical spot your creative team I'd assume would want to tackle and would be surprised if real fans of the series could also come up with more
But if your going to the behind the scenes stuff cool, commit to it, if you want to just lay parts out then make the Q interesting in the other ways like I said with a spray paint wall projection and make it feel like your in a garage.
The point of Q's now is to help make it not as boring to wait but I don't feel like it does much to be interesting and like I said this was the one area you can show off what your team can creatively come up with. Its literally a Movie studio as well so any video made you'd think would be able to capture people's attention since they make movies all the time next door.
