Having caught up with all this, so far I was told while picking up my wristband been told we can ride as much as we'd like in the 2 hour time slot, and entry was pretty smooth as they started letting people in around 10 minutes before my 1PM time slot.
No single rider or express was being taken, but the standby line was moving pretty fast and it didn't go around anywhere near as much as during public softs. But now just my luck; the ride has broken down and it's expected to be back up at 2PM. The silver lining is that they said they'll still honor wrist bands before 5. I guess I should be lucky I made it to a shaded part of the queue that's not far behind the stairs before the , but this kinda stinks as someone who was hoping to ride as much times as possible during this.
Other than the unlucky breakdown, it seems they worked out the line kinks that
@Pacific mentioned from what I presume is the first day. I guess it always seems things are most likely to go wrong on the first day of these types of things. I would know from SNW's first day of AP previews being so bad that they offered a makeup day.
Edit (1:55 ish): They have now said they don't know when it'll be back up. Not getting out of my spot with how far I got, but these tests of patience are always tough. If nothing else I'm very glad I geared up on ice for my hydro flask before getting in line.
EDIT 2: Ride's back online! The collective cheers when it was announced on the intercom is always nice
