Screen-based JAWS would be a very bad idea.

Give us physical sharks, or don't bother.

you know, I wonder,
could universal do a jaws ride using shark animatronics but screen backgrounds like dark universe ...... replace water with screens. screen backgrounds, (or create the illusion of water tanks with glass panels and water reflections on the glass panels and have real sharks robots behind the glass, using water protections on a glass reflective surface)

technically you don't really need real water if you can fake them

There's no limit to what the creatives at UC can come up with as long as they're not hampered by Executives from the film side trying to get their dictates followed. Let the theme park UC do what they do best. Some very unique attractions are at Epic and I'm sure they could do something really good with the F&F SC building if given the budget and freedom needed.

I still feel like a legacy ride with all the old IPs might be best suited for this building. Could be a Hill Valley area on one side of the SF street and Amity on the waterside with both films represented in the ride. You have three rooms yeah? One for JAWS, one for BTTF and one for GB.

Yup. But with Doc Brown as the tour guide and animatronics for each room. Great movie ride as much as anything. Put the DeLorean, train and Ecto One on the current exit and BRUCE and a model Orca photo op on the other….hell you could make the bar a hollowed out Orca on its side.

See, THIS, I would actually support. I think if the ride was either IP independently, they would deserve better, more specific, detailed-to-that-particular-IP theming (i.e a solely Jaws ride would deserve to be in a boat on water for example, and BTTF in a Delorean, moving faster than the ride system currently allows) but if it was a true "through the movies" tour, best hits/tribute to the classics akin to Tram Tour or The Great Movie Ride, I could be more lenient in allowing it all to take place in the current existing space because at that point, the ride concept is more specifically designed to be a tour through all the movies and then the party bus-transformed-to-tour-bus vehicle makes sense.

After seeing the party they put on together at USH theres little doubt they could do something similar in the Supercharged spot. Make the area Hill Valley. They could have Marty and Marvin Berry performing on the street. Would be quite the energy the park needs.

But will they include that with regular park admission or only during special events/Fan Fest?
