Can I borrow your time machine to go ride F&F?

Also, comparing Transformers and F&F to Simpsons/Minions made me roll my eyes more than normal, so congrats.

You're welcome, hope it gave you some vertigo to go along with putting words in my mouth. I said it could be fun.

Screen based, that's the common denominator. I'm not opposed to it, I can simply not ride them. Variety was my point, and that Gringotts did a good job in using them. And it was a better comparison than your comparing HM to POTC. OMNI and a boat ride with a drop.

Fast and furious haven't been about going fast in a long time though. The originals were about racing, now they are about bad guys and heists.

We can do that in the Sea World/Tampa park thread.

And that's perfect for the IOA Jurassic park thread.

And Gringotts has a drop and a launch, which Transformers doesn't have. And Transformers has dark ride scenes which Minions and Simpsons doesn't have.

Do you ever walk into a Best Buy and say "There's too many screens!"
This is literally some of you here. Refer to my formula for screens on the proper Screen Debate thread.
EDIT: Search query says there are 200 posts with the "S" word in it.

Which is why I didn't compare Transformers and Gringotts. But you are absolutely right about the differences between TF and Simpsons and Minions. But I would guess F&F will fall somewhere between the two, or more like TF... It would be nice to have something different.

You CAN ride the prototype in Hollywood. Screens and lack of speed aside, that's the real best indication: Their first attempt was bad.

No one at UC wanted to scrap it all and start over... strike two.

This came from Pheneix (broke quite a few details about Avatar a couple years back that have all since fleshed out) at WDW Magic last week. Thought it would add more to the conversation here as it garnered all of two additional comments:

IMHO the Furious ride is a total dumpster fire of a ride and may very well go down as Universal's first bomb in the post Potter era.

Oh well.... Bring on the 2018 rides.

Of course, his opinion on what he knows. The definition of 'bomb' will hotly debated I'm sure.

Seeing as they haven't even started construction on the ride yet, his opinion means nothing.

WDWMagic has terrible time having solid Universal rumors. I wouldn't buy them.

But the plans must be finalized to be this far along.

Even if so, using plans as saying something will bomb is dumb. People hammered the guy who read the Kong blueprints and said it was underwhelming yet he had no clue what he was reading.

Nevermind. It would have started an argument so I thought better of it. :)

Exactly. It's not like F&F over in Hollywood got good reviews. It technically already IS Universal Creative's first bomb post-Potter.
