Can someone confirm if this is accurate? Because…

I’m under the impression we really aren’t getting the animatronics like they look in ORL. The silhouettes are intentional, there’s nothing behind the curtains.

Perhaps that’s a B-Mode if the animatronics break down?

As far as I've heard this isnt true

Allegedly theres been technical difficulties or bonnie and chica werent finished yet because they were behind curtains, I'm hearing theyll be ready opening night hopefully.

It seems like from all the behind the scenes media tours, John really only mentions Freddy. My interpretation was he would be the only animatronic on the stage.

The videos I have seen of this scene look really incomplete. So either it’s a B-mode they set up for Employee Preview — or they ran out of money for the other two animatronics.

Either way, with the way the scene is set up and blocked — it looks like they were planning for all three to be there.

Hoping it’s a technical issue.

I hope it is too. If money really was an issue, would it kill them to at least have Bonnie and Chica there with very limited motion at least? What a wasted opportunity that would be.

That's sorta my thought, the stage looks way too claustrophobic with the curtains up, and I cant imagine it would ever purposely be designed that way as anything other than a B-mode, since it makes the stage itself look really funky.

If I'm wrong, that's maybe the most disappointing fumbled execution of a property I can think of since Ash vs Evil Dead, but if I'm right its actually kinda nice that they actually considered a B-mode rather than just leaving them sitting out there when they break down. Either way I expect us to know by Thursday, if they don't have all 3 ready by media night that would be a very bad look on their part, if they intend to have all 3 ready at all.

Yeah I would think if it was always the plan to only have Freddy, they would have made the stage much smaller. Or even have static Bonnie and Chica. It doesn’t look like this was the way it was planned. That doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t the final version. Value imagineering is real.

Fingers crossed.

I don't want to see the stage because spoilers, but does anyone know if they could see a track for curtains above Freddy Fazbear in the first scene? If not that could be a clue.

Also FWIW I did hear rumblings that those curtains are indeed for a B-mode. I can't say for sure, but we'll find out Thursday!

There is no curtain track for curtains above Freddy from what I think I've seen.

It's hard to see for sure since the few clips that exist dont normally have a wide enough shot to catch, but it looks like theres 3 sets of curtains, 1 is the primary curved stage curtain, like you see in the movie/showbiz pizzas, and theres 2 sets of separate curtains covering where bonnie and chica should be that look like they have a track that would suggest theyre supposed to be able to open? Presumably Freddy has his own that can be lowered from the soundstage rafters or they could just close the whole main stage curtain if he's broken, but he doesn't appear to have the same rig in place, which could be reason for concern.

While significant mechanical effects have not made preview before (and were installed prior to opening night), I'd be surprised if they developed a projection effect for each "missing" animatronic as a B-mode. I think what you see may unfortunately be what you get, though our Freddy has more articulation.

Maybe this is me snorting copium, but like someone else said, if it was always the case that it would just be Freddy there and none of the other characters, gthen why was the stage designed as big as it was? I'm holding onto hope that those curtains are just there as a placeholder until they get the last two animatronics installed? Or working?
