Gonna be blunt when I say this: I don't envy's UOR's technical/mechanical teams with this one. Really think this won't be what people hope of it to be.

Really hoping I am wrong, but not excited to see how Orlando handles this IP.

I'm curious why you think that - I'm picturing this as the KKFOS house with a different skin lol

See I am looking at it more from the technological standpoint of the face articulation and how they will have to focus on that.

That, the Foxy/Mangle (if they include FNAF2 and the Withered's alongside them) animatronics feel like what I am oddly the more nervous on. I also kind of wish (and this is speculating on the basis of the rumored location) that this got SS25 as opposed to what has been currently rumored for it.

Can't wait to wear this to the event

In all seriousness though, this should certainly be a fun house. I was pretty indifferent on the film, but if they pull it off well it could be a blast. Hoping for some fun animatronics.

I think you guys are really overestimating how many actual animatronics/autonomous animation is going to be present in this house... on both coasts...

yeah, the chucky house in hollywood featured some very impressive figures. but those don’t indicate, to me, that FNAF will deviate from the proven recipe of “big puppets,” “people in costumes” or “people operating limbs through boo holes.”

Personally mainly expecting big half costumes in boo holes. If there is an animatronic, it would be for Mangle.

They aren't going to resort to (expensive) animatronics unless they absolutely have to. Mangle, if it appears, is a character you can't accomplish with a suit.

Well, unlike most opinions I've read on this thread about FNAF... to me it is so disappointing that FNAF may be considered as the "main headliner" for HHN34.

UGH

FNAF - entertaining; yes.
FNAF - Horror; No

Another weak year to come. I'll still be there, haven't missed a year since 2007 - but the last 4 years have been so ho-hum. Houses good, but park environment - scare zones, icons - all anemic.

It’s monster robots inhabited by the souls of dead kids that kill people in a dark, spooky setting!

I swear, if this video game had steampunk visuals with the exact same story, it would be an underrated cult classic. Because it’s the visuals that make it popular.

Yeah, no. It’s definitely horror. It may not be your cup of tea and that’s fine - but it’s horror.

yes, actually saw the movie at Citywalk...
And I also saw Willy's Wonderland with Nicolas Cage - did you?
Good for a concept and movie, weak as a supposed (hoped) headliner. As stated - people - My opinion is Unlike most on this thread.

I have not actually. Not really my cup of tea. Just like the FNAF movie wasn’t. But I still call it horror bc well it is.

We are not going to do this all season.

Five Nights at Freddy's is horror. Period. You don't have to like it, but this is empirically true. There are going to be nine other haunted houses that do not feature this IP. If this one isn't your bag, focus on those.

Also just because the movie wasn't scary doesnt mean the house won't be. Last year we had Insidious and I don't think those movies are scary at all. However the house was one of the scariest houses we've gotten at the event and it's based on a PG-13 IP with no blood or gore! FNAF could absolutely be scary (I dont think it will be as scary as Insidious but there's potential if they do it right)
