Orlando has never really leaned super heavily into animatronics in their houses. AWIL was the first time they really did anything extensive with puppets. That is the one “field” of haunts that Orlando was also very very behind on.

the commercial I saw on TV showed one of the puppets, but was that a puppet that will show up in the house?

I'm pretty sure that the animatronic characters seen in the commercial going around are just scenes lifted from the film in between the 'scared guest' actor shots.

At the 13 Minute Mark you can see footage of the attraction

Step inside the fear: First look at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 2025

For 34 years, Halloween Horror Nights has turned the streets of Universal Studios Florida into a giant nightmare playground, and this year might just be the biggest yet.

So now that the event officially opened, can we confirm if this attraction is great?

I enjoyed it; also have a mild distrust of cupcakes now.

It’s nowhere as gory as the other houses but set design and costumes are fantastic.

I've been talking about this with other people, and been sitting on it for awhile but...

What are the odds this house lasts awhile post-HHN? High wait times, merch flying off shelves, a new movie coming out basically a month after the event ends, and it just being a very popular franchise that works outside of the scope of HHN. I'm just curious what people outside of my circles think of this idea.

I wonder if Hollywood has a better shot at keeping FNAF for a longer period. Closer access to the park directly for us, combined with that FFN likely won't need the venue until February at the earliest considering how construction for the venue happened the way it did. We have also done studio promotions before, look no further than The Fall Guy.

I do wonder what the longterm GSAT status of the house will be. Especially if house wait times stay consistent like tonight and further on in the course of the season.

I'd take a meet and greet with the AAs

Like you made them the cost is mostly done besides maintaining them, the lines would be 60+ mins just for a meet and greet photo and they would not take up much space

Sadly I doubt they will but it would be cool if they start doing things like that

I mean Fallout in a way is in the same boat and they COULD modify it and keep it for Fan fest and then keep upgrading it and have another fallout house next year but once again I doubt it but maybe this year will make them start thinking about how they can maximize some of the bigger IPS after the haunts are over

I think there’s a much higher chance you see it return for another year if it’s truly as popular as is being speculated. I do not think you will see a Horror Nights house, specifically designed to be temporary, run beyond the event dates.

I mean, why not negotiating to bring it to Horror Unleashed?

To me that would draw foot traffic to the experience.

I think this is the most likely outcome.

I do think this will get discussions started on a more.... long term FNAF attraction though.

I mean - they opened the first ST house for Stranger Things Day back in 2018.

I could maybe see them keeping it up and opening it back up when FNAF 2 is released. Maybe even with an upcharge?
