Just watched one roll back.... to the station.... from the middle of the first crest...

I have been hoping for something quirky like this!!! What fun!

Rollbacks shouldn’t happen with a launch, right? Or at least it’s an easy fix. You increase the speed of that particular launch.

It happens...Sometimes it can shut the ride down though

I have been on several launch coasters and have 5 rollbacks, 3 of them what TTD at CP, and one was on Outerlimits and one was actually not a launch coaster, but on closing day of CP when I worked there we got on Raptor and when it got to the block brake there was no OOOMMPHH, so we valleyed was a fun time

I mean, it's pretty damn common on launch rides like Kingda Ka and Top Thrill Dragster. Wind and other things play a factor.

I knew that but figured with TTD’s height, the wind would play a much bigger factor vs. Hagrid’s which stays relatively close to the ground.

For those who have gone through, what would you guesstimate the wait time would be (in general) when the entire queue was full back to the ride's entrance itself (i.e. not spilling beyond into Hogsmeade and elsewhere).

Probably 2.5/3 hours if running without interruption.

So, most likely with the Virtual Line, when you actually go for your return time, your gonna wait 2-3 hours? That's not too shabby, I waited about that for Flight of Passage

My friend and I made it on right before it went down! We did get stuck right after the drop track. But it was amazing. We had a blast! I got a wand from Warwick Davis and it was a great experience. Staff were amazing today!

I’m glad most people are (seemingly) enjoying the ride and experience despite the hiccups and long wait times! So many people have waited so long for this one ride and it’s nice to see it payoff.

That's a completely different coaster that doesn't have a launch to recover, and is not supposed to valley in that area

Perhaps Mummy is a better comp. But yea I think you're seeing more launched coasters designed to prevent extended downtimes due to rollbacks.

We just got an update that ole hagrids ride is down again. no estimate on return to service.

It's is still unavoidable, especially in Florida with weird humidity

Real talk, I hope Intamin comes in to re-do HRRR one day

Anyone know how lockers work? I'm guessing they're the smaller lockers which open with your pass? Do you have to step out of line to get the locker?
