Kind of hoping they take a page from Fantastic Four and go back to being a "period piece" sort of element in timeline of events.

I would love to see a period piece Bond run, but here's the major thing that would make that unlikely: the Bond franchise has so many licensing and brand partners, and they're going to want to promote their current product alongside the film. That would be difficult if the movies are being set in the 1960s again.

I agree to that fully--but I think if Marvel's able to get people to work things about for Fantastic Four (considering that seems to be getting a notable marketing push already through other avenues); I'd like to think Amazon would be doing the same if the media for their Bond potentially goes theatrical.

Personally speaking, it'd be great to see them divert away from "Modern Spy culture" that was prevalent through that of the Bond run that we just had.

Honestly if I had to pick someone currently working for them I would pick Bryce Dallas Howard. She's directed episodes of the Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett and Skeleton Crew. Each of which were stand out episodes. She understands Star Wars and I think she would be great in a leadership role for them but alas. That will never happen unfortunately if I'm being realistic lol
