Just another example of Hollywood milking old ideas for new money. I loved the first two but to think of a third would be a little much, I thought the forth Indy movie was good but not near the caliper of the first 3.

I know there is a severe lack of creativity these days it seems.

Oh and I thought Indy 4 was a real stinkfest.

Indy 4 was definitely a huge disappointment. It had a totally different feel than the other 3. And the whole spaceship/alien thing was ridiculous.

Exactly! And the whole Mutt swinging from the vines thing...wth?
I found it to be more of the comedy from all the random and cheesy things thrown into this one.

I know a few people that work out in Hollywood, and consider this green lighted.

So,as I am the resident Ultimate GB fan,I will chime in with my 2 cents worth.

1)It better have the original Proton Packs and other equipment and not new updated crap.

2)The Ecto-1(their car) better be the same 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor combination style ambulance.

3)All 4 GBs better have some sort of role in it,and it better be longer than 5 mins.

That's just my opinions.

If the orginal cast is involved, it will be decent! Indy 4, kind of crap...however I liked it! Not my favorite, but it's better than Temple of Doom. To me, Temple of Doom did not have the Indy feel to it. Indy 4, at least they had that. If gb3 at least trys, my hats off to them. Adding the apatow crew, is a cherry on top the nerd sundae.

Roegan and crew needs to be as far away from this sequel as possible!

I'm tired of him just like everyone else is.

One things for sure, Rick Moranis won't be back to revise his roll as Louis Tully, I don't think he even does films anymore. I can probably say for certain he's one of those actors who did his time and took his money and ran. Smart fellow if you ask me, if you make a million dollars, you can live off the interest, as a normal citizen, for the rest of your life!!

I agree with UltimateGBFan on those requirments, I don't really see the point in bringing them back for cameos, that would be a slap in the face.

I am not saying I really would want them in it. It's a mixed bag for me. What would I prefer? I want the original guys back. Would I mind if the apatow crew, no. Does that mean I want them, not really.

They are not really tiring to me, but the ideas for the movies they are doing are really reaching their peak. I still freaking love them. But I agree, some the movie ideas they have coming, they really have already done. I like their movies cause they really are not the same character *cough* will ferrell *cough* ( I like him though, but plays the same character in every movie basically ).

Back on topic anyway. I want the original crew back, just as much as you do. I freaking love the original crew. However, it has to be an original idea, in order for me to actually want to see the movie being made. It has to have the original guys in it, unlike the disterous jim carrey less sequels that have been known as son of the mask, ace ventura jr etc. Evan Almighty I liked though.

However, I will still love the upcoming game and ride to hold me over.

At least George Lucas wouldn't be involved with GB3.

I guess it is now sort of official. Apparently Production Weekly has started listing it this week, and Apatow is listed as producers.

Thanks for the link yates, I'm excited for the return of the GBs. I know we're definitely going to get a bunch of laughs out of this.

Yeah, that was a blunder. They'd have go out of their way to make GB3 as as bad as Spidey 3.

I say this it is hard to put Lightning in a bottle twice, and comedies are even harder. Maybe Akyrod has one last great film to write in him.
