From what I understand the only thing greenlit at EPCOT right now is a revamp of the entrance plaza removing the tombstones, and even that could fall through or get pushed back.

I would laugh so hard that if after all this time, and all of these GOTG rumors, if Universal announced an original GOTG attraction not replacing anything at MSHI. I highly doubt it, but that idea alone...

With the recent openings Epcot is in a bit of a holding pattern to see what the new normal is. So far Test Track is doing better than expected.

That is the DUMBEST excuse I've ever heard and is not true. There is no way that they would toss away a carefully planned part of the MCU just for effin theme park rights that are already in muddy waters. No no no.

That the swirling storm of ideas surrounding this property are on shaky ground already with how those "in-the-know" are responding to the legal issues and that this is merely the result of a heavily-sourced blue sky pitch session at WDI, most likely due to the lack of projects as a result of Shanghai's end and Imagineers wanting to keep busy to keep employed as the end of the fiscal year approaches. (or for Disney to prevent them from hopping to UC)

I dont remember if it was on parkscope or another site but they specifically broke down why legally gotg will not come to disney. If anyone has that link i would love to take a look at it again it was a great read, especially to send to all the pixie dusters out there.

It bothers me when people claim that some of our best people with insider info are called out for being inaccurate when Disney's own projects get green-lit one day and red-lit sometime later...that doesn't mean they're sending wrong info, that means something else happened internally after.

Unless your Bob Iger or head of WDI, everything is speculation until opened officially IMO
