Am I wrong in assuming the logo is meant to be an open book where the pages are wands? Personally I first saw it as the display in Ollivanders, but makes sense as a book now that I think about it.

It is indeed supposed to be an open book with the wands representing fanned pages.

Did we ever get any confirmation on whether or not Hogsmede will be expanded even in the slightest along with this project? Based on what I’ve read, it doesn’t seem likely considering parts of the queue are being re-used.

Nope. No new Hogsmeade. The ride’s taking up the entire plot. Which is good for the ride at least.

Aw darn. I think Hogsmede could’ve benefited from a side area over there (similar to Diagon Alley), but alas.

This is cool, but frustrates me. While I love construction and development, have no idea what the hell i'm looking at in detail other than the aerial lol.

Also, River Adventure for Jurassic Park has a MASSIVE foot print. Islands of Adventure has so much untapped space.

Well yea, so does Kilimanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom, but where else are the dinosaurs gonna live?

It is great that the full space will be used for the ride. With extensive show scenes throughout the ride and multiple indoor scenes along with outdoor scenes this ride is going to be a great addition to universal. Add in multiple forward launches and the backwards launch it will have some fun thrills as well.

I was really hoping for an actual Madam Puddifoot's and a little more space to view the light shows. If they're using all that land for a single ride, it better be something families really can enjoy or it won't alleviate the crowding in Hogsmeade in the slightest.

I think the new ride gets a lot of butts in seats and nice queues to relief the street of Hogsmeade. DC hardly pulled a crowd. I'm excited for this ride.

DC was a people eater. It’s surprising how many guests it could swallow without it looking busy
