I don't think this particular thing means much. Terrifier headlining HHN would mean more exposure (and more money) for a performer who doesn't seem to have much of a presence outside of this role. And that's not a knock against him at all. I just think -- yeah, of course he'd "like" the idea of Terrifier at HHN.

That all said, I'm still betting on this property coming and I think it'll be a good get.

Tbh I have no inside info, but WWE has Orlando exclusive written all over it. Seems like a personal pick Mike favored in development of the lineup. Still could definitely be wrong.

In regards to Thorton... forget Terrifier. Universal should go for his "Steamboat Willy" horror adaptation

In an unrelated note... still say Ice Nine Kills would be great to see at HHN. Murdy could collab with Spencer for a house. All the material is there: Silver Scream, Horrorwood, Inked In Blood etc..

As for WWE... always remember, Hollywood had WWF Undertaker in 2000. So it's a 50/50 chance of being legit

It'd be like the closest we ever get to Are you Afraid of the Dark or Goosebumps as a house; Just be sure to turn up that existential horror and cosmic dread to 11.

Singapore did a KPOP inspired original house a few years ago & combined it with the excessive K-Beauty standards of plastic surgery. And they had a mini show too...

Although being a Kpop fanboy, there's plenty of themes from multiple groups MV that'd work for house content (not everything is bubbly and/or fluffy)

As for Ice Nine Kills... the beauty of collabing with them for a house is it isn't strictly a "music house". Inked In Blood is their graphic novel. The Silver Scream is their "based on a true story" crime novel. Between their horror movie themed videos, they have an actual continuous plot that ties into their 2 book formats, plus all the extended scenes for the videos that actually make a short film (which include actors like Bill Mosely), I'd argue it's more cohesive adaptable material than.... the Weeknd.

I would honestly love to see an Ice Nine Kills maze they do have really great material that could work for a house. I mean the house could be a mix of their albums, but it could also focus on one album specially "Welcome to Horror wood" since getting to see "The Silence" in the maze and seeing a spinoff of classic horror movies would be great. It would also be a great way for the band to get more recognition that they deserve.

Agree that the criticism is dumb, but I’m honestly very surprised he’s not only aware of the vocal group that feels that way but is actively working to satisfy them this year. Can’t wait

Would make sense to be concerned about this in a year of non conventional choices for IPs

Scares would be more effective if they fully staffed the houses (goes for all haunt events). There was an excessive case of empty booholes last year & it wasn't poor timing.
