Don't get me wrong, I've really enjoyed all the Latin America houses. At the same time, it's also getting a bit long in the tooth for me, and I'd be ready for something new. I'm still waiting for Asian horror to be correctly represented at HHN. Aside from the botched scarezone, they're never done it, and it's starting to feel like a glaring omission.

Think the only real bummer with the Latin America mazes has been the number of re-do's. That first Monstruos was a huge shot in the arm and it was just three years ago. If they choose to go a completely new route, then I'm fine with it.

Re: Asian horror, that'd be great too. Outside of folklore, one path I'd like to see them consider is to try adapting a Korean horror movie as a house, given the huge community in LA. E.g. Exhuma, which is apparently the sixth highest grossing Korean movie of all time.

With the event's current trajectory, I fully expect a Kpop Demon Hunters maze

Ah, yes. Clearly the inclusion of Terrifier would indicate the event is moving in a more family friendly direction...

I love how they made Terrifier the most insane over-the-top disgusting outlandish six minutes in the history of the event just to shut up the complainers and people STILL whine about the event being baby-fied

Tbh, I didn’t think Terrifier was any worse than what they’ve already done in the past. Y’all haven’t been through Hostel back in the day and it shows lol.

Yeah KPop is for sure a FFN IP. It would be perfect for that. Although it would be assuming to see it come the HHN for the meltdowns on here.

I think they must have had some sort of survey or something done a few years ago, because the event has been deathly afraid of back to back repeats for the past 5-10 years. Or maybe it was the marketing department that recognized that something coming back after being away is a bigger draw than a continuation of the prior year.

I remember we all thought Chucky was a shoe-in for a repeat and then that just…didn’t happen. Although I’m sure the Chucky animatronics are still around waiting to be reused or repurposed. So, I actually think they might mothball FNAF and Terrifier for at least a year each. But I would bet real money that we will see both return again, just not next year.

I don’t think FNAF 1 is ever coming back… at least not for a while. I bet they take a year off, do the second film in 2027, third film in 2029 and then maybe a repeat either between 27-29 or after the trilogy is over.

Terrifier, I can see that just getting a book report style house in 2027 a year after the fourth film releases.

FNAF 1 will become the new nightmare or Halloween. They will just keep using it.

The last time we had a dedicated Nightmare on Elm Street house was back in 2010 and Freddy himself only shared the spotlight in 2016/2017, though… TCM/Leatherface has been at the event more than ANOES/Freddy has.

I mean K pop or demon slayer houses would be hugely successful

Not saying that’s what fans want but for sure be done of the longest lines at the event and assume mercy selling out
