Well, I have no idea what that means wait wait does dr jimmy work at hhn because isnt he supposed to tell you the event and what is going to happen in advance, or is he just a speculator like all of us?

Yeah... I don't know what to believe... I've heard him get some things right and some things... Not even in the same ballpark. Like last year he said that the event would be at IOA and that there would be a Potter themed house with a house mixed with the Popeyes ride and have scare actors in areas of the ride to pop out and scare guests too.

That was part of his annual April Fools Joke. Every year he makes an obvious joke video, and every year the internet blows up thinking it's real.

Dr. Jimmy has been going since year 1, and is pretty well-connected into the Orlando theme park scene. If he gets stuff wrong--which he has--it's usually because plans changed on the fly. In other words, put money on a vampire house this year.

ETA: The Popeye joke actually was based on actual history. Back in the day, scareactors would hide in the Jaws boathouse, come at you with chainsaws while you were in there.

yeah they should do that now why don't they do that anymore? I have heard that scare actors hid in the disaster ride and no fire or water was there and they would bang on the train or subway thing, but that was a very long time ago I wasn't even born yet.

Actually I hope this is true because as you can see my picture on my profile is jack the clown but dr. jimmy actually said something about Jack actually having his own show ,. but not coming back as an icon but for justa show dr jimmy said I wont say it is true and I won't say its false and I was like wow how does this guy know this stuff. Maybe he said that because it could get scratched at any minute who knows? lol.

^For Disaster, when it was still Earthquake, Jack stood up on the platform in front of the control booth. He basically would roam around up there very menacingly and sort of act as though he was making the fire, and effects happen. From what I remember when I saw it.

Ok all the rumors so far
1. Jack might have his own show but not return as an icon.
2.this is confirmed there will be an all new original house not a sequel house.
3.the vampire clue from dr. Jimmy
4.Mkike Aiello might bring in a classic house again EX. (American Werewolf in London)
5. American Horror Story might come. It was replaced last year by Evil Dead.
6.Legendary Truth will come back.
7.The Walking Dead might return again most likely it will but I think as a house.
That's All that I know tell me more if you guys know something different.

I have found out another rumor mike Aiello is a die hard Halloween fan of the movies you know of Michael myers right well there are some rumors going around that he might make it a house. I forgot what company produced it but he posted on twitter or facebook that he passed by or visited the studios of who produced the Halloween movies. That would be really scary as a house.

Halloween has been part of HHN in yrs past and ALMOST happen in 2007... But the Rob Zombie Version.

If they do IP houses, I truly hope to stick to the classics because those have been the best executed movie houses...Thing, AWiL, Chucky, Silver Screams. It seems that when they try to do most modern films as a house they don't tend to be as good such as Saw.

I'd also like them to stay as far away from video game houses. RE was atrocious and way too short as well. The houses they seem to pull off the best are creepy and pure gore houses. I want them to stick with that dynamic as much as possible.

Ooh, I'd have to majorly disagree there. Evil Dead and Cabin in the Woods are new properties done right...very right. Also, I'd consider Silver Screams a modern house rather than a classic (the only 'classics' represented was Phantom of the Opera and arguably Shaun of the Dead...My Bloody Valentine and The Strangers were recent). Chucky was rather lackluster, as was House of Horrors. Yet Wolfman, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Dead Silence were some of the best in HHN history. I'd have to say its about even when it comes to the quality of modern IP houses vs "classic" IP houses...just depends on what the source lends it to and how much work A&D puts into it.

Im not entirely sure what you mean by that, because every IP-house translation is basically a best-of, as are movie trailers. But either way, the house had stellar set design (forest scenes particularly), fantastic costumes/makeup (the Wolf-Men were the last truly convincing costumes at HHN, IMO), solid effects (the transformation room), and aggressive scares (bungee cords, ceiling scares, etc.).

Only came on board this season, but some interesting iconography in Coven, and could be a actress-heavy house, like Nightingales. That said, if you're basing a house off a genre show, forget AHS or TWD, Sleepy Hollow would be the way to go (just a suggestion, not a rumor).

Here's the thing: Coven was an awful, awful season (I ditched it around episode 9), yet out of all the AHS seasons, it would provide the best sets and scares.
