I think the hard core fans don't like TWD at HHN but you should have seen me at HNN 23 I was so pissed off at the scarezones I didn't even get scared. I think there will only be a house on TWD season 4 not all seasons again that would mean would of had season 1 three times as a house that would suck I am so TWD out I can't even explain I used to love HHN when it was classic and they made the ideas they still do that but not as much.

Out of curiosity, based on past years, when will we start hearing rumblings on potential houses? It seemed like rumors really started around February last year.

Meetings to finalize IP's, concepts, characters, theming, and so on occur in late January. Rumblings will begin anytime after that.

Any possibility of it hitting IOA this year... and any possibility of a sick Hogwarts express video layover for when we ride the HE? that would be sick, as though you are on a train going through a spooky woods and you see creepy creatures out the window

Doubt we'd see any kind of an overlay like that. Most HHN guests would be riding HE for the first time. Goes for all of Diagon Alley, really. Of course, whether they even get a chance to do even that is very much up in the air.

Is there anything with HP contracts that prohibit it like with Seuss? I thought I remember hearing that there was but can't remember for sure.

Very interested to see how they are going to handle the HE during HHN thing...my assumption would be that HE closes at 5pm on event nights

Unless the contract specifically says that Diagon Alley is not to be open during HHN, I don't see why they wouldn't want to showcase their latest and greatest to HHN visitors, it might just convince those who go there during the event to either visit more, or get any of the annual passes :shrug:

There's also been mention of a possibility that if they open the WWoHP during HHN, they might need to pay a chunk of HHN-ticket revenue to WB and JKR. I'm not sure how true or how much they'd have to part with, but it does make sense that such a contractual clause could exist. I have always doubted that JKR or WB would be opposed to HHN's theme because there's plenty of dark, dark themes in both the books and movies... but then again, there was also that rumor/story of JKR or some rep being upset about drunks or behavior at HHN and how that might have put them off... but there's also a freaking bar at the WWoHP.... so who knows :shrug: I personally always thought the decision had more to do with Universal not wanting to have to cut a check and take a loss in HHN profits (which again, they are a business, so this also makes sense).

It's gonna be interesting to see how it's handled beginning next year. Will they close off DA and keep just a HP-less London? We'll see!

That's the thing, they could include Potter and charge more for HHN tickets this year if they wanted to.

Fortunately blocking off Potter would be easy at both parks since IOA has the bypass bridge and USF is all behind the facade since we know they wouldn't want guests visiting at a cheaper rate.

The bypass was built with HHN in mind...

It could happen in IOA again but nobody knows when it will happen again. They wanted to do 2 parks in 2011 but plans change at the last moment (April).

It was built to avoid a deadend during construction and so guest flow would be uninterrupted on peak days when WWoHP is at capacity.

If it is a 2 park event wouldn't there be a lot of empty space I have never been to the first 2 park event of HHN so I wouldn't know but I think there would be a lot of walking and dead space. [NO PUN INTENDED] please tell me what you think.

Yes there is A LOT of dead space as well A LOT of walking. Do I want 2 parks? Yes and No. If they do get the go ahead to do 2 parks it has to flow right storywise.. IOA and USF are 2 totally different animals.

I don't see the Potter Universe being used for anything related to HHN.
