I'll guess that The unannounced: The return (Parade) is Trick R Treat. The riddle for the codename was It's all a round the season, in every possible way,
From sustenance to ambiance it hangs around each day. It's been said that it's not the sun, but looks like the sun and you can't eat the sun. It's been stated that it is tied to Horror Nights and October in general. I'm going take a guess that the codename is pumpkin. So, I believe Trick R Treat can fit with codename pumpkin. It's an IP and just because it's returning I don't believe you can assume the first time around was directly tied to the IP. They've used TRT before but only as inspired by an IP.

That being said, I'm actually putting TWD under The unannounced: The returning and Krampus under The unannounced: The expected. I'm doing that because I believe it fits with the consensus that we will get Krampus and also that we will most likely get TWD also.

I'm even more convinced TWD is going into MIB now that we know it isn't in Parade. If it's a returning IP maybe it's Halloween? This is a tough riddle.

As cool as Lovecraft would be, I think it's a little too niche for the general HHN audience. That's my feeling behind why I don't see it coming.

I almost feel all the houses this year are going to be throw backs to original horror movies. Considering the two they have announced are already in that theme. The walking dead house was its 3rd year last year and it wasn't doing too well. I would be surprised to see it return again this year. But I guess you cant really rule those out. I think they may do another Purge house this year too.

Love craft has been a rumor since 2010 to my knowledge. It gets brought up every single year, never to any prevail. I never heard of them bringing TRT, that and krampus share the same director. Would love to see both. Also purge for returning?

FWIW, heard from a solid source no Lovecraft--no clue what that clue could mean otherwise, tho. Also heard TWD back, so agree that's probably "Expected."

I can confirm, but of course it's HHN so it can all change at the 11th hour.

What we know so far:

9 houses with the new location being the MIB queue.
The Exorcist and Texas Chain Saw Massacre are confirmed for a SS and Tent 2 respectively.
TWD is back.
Tent 1 has an original codenamed Cobweb and it will be a very tight house.
There is a requel of an original, probably Ghost Town based on what Legacy is hinting.
Parade has an IP that isn't TWD.
The Purge is not one of the houses.
Krampus is looking iffy, there's conflicting info from insiders.
No Hitchcock or Lovecraft.

so this is why i believe H.P Lovecraft is coming.... H.P Lovecraft has a story called Dream Cycle and in Dream Cycles there are 4 different regions

• The West contains the Steps of Deeper Slumber (descended via the "Cavern of Flame") and the Enchanted Woods by which many enter the Dreamlands. Other points of interest include the port of Dylath-Leen, one of the Dreamlands' largest cities; the town of Ulthar"where no man may kill a cat,"[2] the coastal jungle city of Hlanith, and the desert trading capital Illarnek. Here lies the fabled Land of Mnar, whose gray stones are etched with signs and where rise the ruins of the great Sarnath.
• The South, home of the isle of Oriab and the areas known as the Fantastic Realms (described in "The White Ship").
• The East, home of Celephaïs, a city dreamt into being by its monarch Kuranes, greatest of all recorded dreamers, and the dangerous Forbidden Lands.
• The North, location of the feared Plateau of Leng, home of man-eating spiders and the satyr-like "Men of Leng"

The north has spiders and they make cobwebs so i'm speculating it could be something with H.P Lovecraft and let's look at story of the outsider

I could go on and on with other stories but i think you get the point on why i believe he is coming.

Nope. It's still getting built. It's 79B... Right behind MIB.

Several insiders have said in this thread Lovecraft isn't happening.

I have to agree with you. I appreciate it for recreating some set pieces from the show. I feel that the zombie fear factor just isnt as intense as some of the other houses, such as Body Collectors. Last years TWD house was just too tame to keep up with the rest of the pack. I loved the Alice in wonderland 3d house and the 25 years of horror house.
