Eillishs’ logo was her own logo, Texas is just The stitched Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Massacre removed and Leatherface running. It’s mostly going to probably be based on the film either original or 2013

The removal of the words “The” and “Massacre” plus the soundstage setting (which would be good for the carnival scene) are reasons why it could easily be the 2013 movie

I also recall hearing that it would be a Leatherface greatest hits house under the Texas Chainsaw branding, sort of having cake and eating it too.

It would be so so I guess, I’d rather them wait on Leatherface if they wanted to do it based on the new film not the 2013 one but it is what it is, he’s one of the only iconic slashers they could use besides Freddy. Jason is not retrievable with the lawsuit going on and Michael is whole other can of worms.

They pay a team full time to do the store so I don’t see why they won’t rework it.

Same, re-working the food towards the end with the registers will help quite a bit. That and depending on what house goes into Shrek, they might have some new inspirations for the store. Either way, while there was some strong rooms last year (the Carnival being one of my all-time favs out of all the years I've gone), you also had the attic which was just there. A new store has the opportunity to be really solid the whole way through.

The attic was Hill House, the big three ips were given the love and the icons, minus Eillish, then Hill House was scrapped and just a part in the store.

When is the last time you watched the first three movies? they're very different tonally - part 2 is a straight up comedy, as Hooper specifically wanted to make as different a movie as possible from the original, which is less a horror than a film-student aesthetic. If I had a day to rewatch them all and cared enough, I'm sure I could come up with a GH treatment - especially if I got to throw in the prequels.

With all of THAT said, I don't know precisely what was meant, because I wasn't the one who floated it in the first place.

This year’s lineup is really strong. Wicked Growth sounds like it’ll be a classic, I’m guessing it’ll be the Graveyard Games of this year. I have nothing to back that up ofc but it is def a gut feeling.

I think this is an interesting scenario this topic hasn't really dealt with before: real official spoilers. Quite a lot of us here on these forums have already experienced 3 of the 10 houses coming at this next event, some of us might even be able to recite them scene by scene (I went into Tooth about 10 more times than I probably should've lol). Not only that, it seems Universal themselves are posting pictures of houses on their own website based on the Beetlejuice page. That's not happened before in the 5 years I've been going to HHN.

I myself like to go into houses as blind as possible, despite loving the speculation scene. It's why I haven't watched the Puppet Theatre trailer and I refuse to watch any leaked walkthroughs of houses I've been personally offered (they exist). And I know I'm not alone on that. For the most part this thread has been good with spoilers regarding specifics of Icons, Anniversary, etc. But for the sake of people who want to go in relatively blind, please remember to spoiler tag your posts if they contain specific and real information of house contents, official or leaked!! I would greatly appreciate it !! :grin:

I am very excited for Wicked Growth and Puppet Theatre, since not only did I absolutely love Scarecrow and Graveyard Games, but I am a big theatre kid, and I still remember Legacy's comment that drama kids will immediately connect with PT.

And I'm cautiously excited about Carey. On one hand, I have no idea how they can do an anniversary house in a tent, but on the other hand, House of 1000 Corpses was phenomenal last year and the fact that this is getting super-plussed gives me hope. We'll see.
