Disregarding the beginning part, Legacy says the “new one” was recently lost. This would lead me to believe Candyman for Hollywood, correct? I don’t see Evil Dead being the IP that was lost.

Oh... "New one" screams Evil Dead to me. The fact that the house is based on the new movie (that still doesn't have any trailer or even teaser)...

Perhaps the film is being delayed and so HBO wants to delay the house (TLoU all over again), Universal on the other hand wants to keep it, that leads to good ol behind-the-scenes drama, and long story short, Evil Dead Rise is cut.

I think people believe they'll drop both Blumhouse and Weeknd out since those are the two last big ips for us out here, with ED out of the equation, Orlando is pretty much set out all of the ips, it would just be originals left, but it'd be a smarter move to wait to put out Weeknd when his tour kicks off, gives more a buzz for his fans to not only travel to see him but maybe catch the house at the event at either coast.

If the Weeknd is this year's Marathon of Mayhem theme, it will be ridiculously amazing. Last year's show convinced me that unless the IPs have great soundtracks, utilizing a music icon/band would be 100x better.

The theme is not The Weeknd but expect his music.

Well if this is true and the film was delayed to 2023.
At least we got Movies such as Dark harvest, Salems lot, and Run sweetheart run a Blumhouse movie to hold us over including everything else(smile) that played In-front of top gun these could be plans for future houses. As I was saying I might went off topic there, but what could Replace Rise?

I would love this - Candyman has been close to the top of my wishlist for a while. The 2021 film would work great as a house too, with the
