The grime probably helps with the extreme glare bouncing off the surface during sundown.Would it kill them to wash those tents?

Sprung is the manufacturer of the original tents. What does “sprung” mean? I get what it MEANS, they’re the permanent tents for HHN houses, but is “sprung” even a real word? Why are they called “sprung” tents? It hurts my brain every time I see them mentioned.
That makes a ton of sense. Thanks!Sprung is the manufacturer of the original tents.

Interesting. I'd always just assumed it was because they "sprung up" quickly. It looks like the manufacturer probably named themselves off the idea their buildings are quickly installed. I never would have guessed Sprung was the actual company name though.Sprung is the manufacturer of the original tents.

Why are those umlauts underneath the ‘O’? You would think a museum would know where they’re supposed to go
Same lol, I was actually slightly mindblown by this discoveryInteresting. I'd always just assumed it was because they "sprung up" quickly. It’s still possible the company chose that name because their projects “sprung up” quickly like fryoj said.Same lol, I was actually slightly mindblown by this discovery
It’s a fantastic example of how, sometimes, the answer is even simpler than expected.Interesting. I'd always just assumed it was because they "sprung up" quickly. They are. They look quite a bit larger than the old tents. I'm curious if they're taller as well.
