I was walking out the house and The interaction was “ Sir excuse me , come back. I appreciate if you wouldn’t call my scareactors names”.

I said “ I didn’t call anyone a name, I’m a big fan “

he said “ that’s not what she said”

then cops came over , I said “ I think you have the wrong person” and the CM quickly walked backed towards the exit, the cop turned around and followed him . I want to believe that he realized it wasn’t me and was heading back towards the exit to see who was out next but who knows.
I'm glad that they just left but that's stressful because what if the other person had touch the actress or something

Gettin closer and closer to the HHN 34 Speculation Thread :skull:
after this year and some of the disappointments from this spec, I don't think I have the heart or energy to follow the spec for hhn 34 lol :confounded:
specially anything to do with ips.
this year might be the most disappointed I ever was. ever.

Sucks… I was walking out of Sweets last night and the cast member called me back and said “ come here , I would appreciate if you wouldn’t call my cast member names”. I didn’t and I told him that and the police came over and he said “ that’s not what she said “. He obviously had the wrong person . I am so appreciative of the scare actors that I cheer during shift changes and politely act scared when I’m not.

The point here is I heard of rare occasions when scare actors get punched but how much verbal abuse do they take? The whole thing made me feel bad.
Scare actors getting punched, pulled, pushed etc is unfortunately more common than ever. Obviously for safety reasons I will not disclose her character and zone, but my daughter was pulled and shoved by one guest last night (resulted in a one year ban), then after that towards the end of the night someone elbowed her in the jaw. She was just tired and ready to go so this guest got away with nothing, she woke up with a swollen jaw from working a fun Halloween event…

punishment needs to be longer than one year. by the next week next year 2025 they can just return to hhn. I never understood that. if that guest only cares about hhn, the a year ban of the parks means nothing. and by October 2025 they get to return. should at least be 2 years for hurting an actor

about the elbowed jaw person, did security catch them?

If the performer does nothing, then the guest gets away with it.

And pointing out violent guests is exhausting.

Can confirm. It wasn't at HHN, but I acted at a very popular haunt here in PA.

I was verbally and physically abused constantly, and I don't think I ever reported it once.
