Any questions? No. It was David S. Pumpkins dressed up as other characters
my favorite time of year!!!! LOL
- Has there been any rumblings for theming of the tribute store, that you may or may not be able to hint at?
- With all the cost cutting measures that universal has been implementing, is there any concerns for various HHN impacts such as detailing/ actors/ house lengths?
- With the reduction of certain tickets and increase in prices, and this new premium scream night. In your opinion, do you see universal trying to focus more on customer quality vs throughput?
Now that it’s announced why didn’t Orlando choose to do The Weeknd again?
Different ideologies is my best guess. IDK why it was never considered as a house, though.
This is just a total guess on my end but maybe the Weeknd house at 31 didn’t do as strong popularity wise on the east coast as it did the west. So maybe Orlando’s team just wasn’t interested?
Def wasn’t that.
Okay, reading in, was The Weeknd planned as a zone at one point?I do know Blumhouse wasn't always planned, and Demon Queens wasn't in Hollywood.
The other 3 were planned for a while. Read into that as you'd like.
I believe @Legacy has suggested a Dollhouse of the Damned zone was planned earlier in the season. Based on Brian’s comments about Demon Queens changing locations, maybe Dollhouse was planned for Hollywood and was then replaced with Demon Queens when Blumhouse pushed that idea out of San Francisco.Okay, reading in, was The Weeknd planned as a zone at one point?
Those and Devil Dogs.
For whatever it’s worth, one of the EARLIEST rumors I had heard was Dollhouse of the Damned 2. If you look at the framing of the truss in San Fran, it could absolutely be a dollhouse for a Toy-based zone.
And it’s easy enough to turn a dollhouse into a Blumhouse.
I'm not on the "anti-blumhouse train", but if they stole away a Dollhouse sequel/zone I might need to change that.I believe @Legacy has suggested a Dollhouse of the Damned zone was planned earlier in the season. Edit: Founded the quote (below). Maybe more moving pieces here than I suggested.

I don't know anything for sure, and not a huge fan of the Weeknd (does it make me cool if I call him Abel instead?) so my opinions surely aren't anything that should be taken seriously...but my takes are the following:i really don't understand and cannot believe that Orlando didn't get the Weeknd. I cannot believe it. Hollywood got it but I can't understand why Orlando didn't. I'm shocked.
people love the first one. easy IP to promote. can't believe
I say the same thing about EDRi really don't understand and cannot believe that Orlando didn't get the Weeknd. I cannot believe it. Hollywood got it but I can't understand why Orlando didn't. I'm shocked.

HNNH Hollywood seems to hate repeats as well. People over on that thread complain as well. Guess Murdy likes them though.I don't know anything for sure, and not a huge fan of the Weeknd (does it make me cool if I call him Abel instead?) so my opinions surely aren't anything that should be taken seriously...but my takes are the following:
Orlando HATES repeat houses, even super popular IPs like Stranger Things and The Walking Dead. They waited a long time for a return to Slaughter Sinema so I wouldn't count out his return in the future, but seems too soon for Orlando. Hollywood has no issues with repeats. Case in point, people here are already (rightfully) complaining about Blumhouse being a rehash/recycled zone.
Has he released any new music since the last house? Granted, Dawn FM hasn't been covered at the Orlando event, but has anything new come out? I liken this as to why Stranger Things and The Last of Us aren't back this year with plenty of meat still on the bones of those IPs in terms of S4 and the first two video games stuff not yet covered.
From what I understand, he's not the most popular person right now. His HBO show was a dumpster fire with all kinds of allegations of him causing problems.
Doesn't he make outlandish demands for his cooperation with his works? With the rumors that's what scuttled FNAF, with Epic construction being the #1 Orlando priority, maybe it just wasn't financially sound to pay for his rights this year.
