One thing that’s really nice to see is heavily divergent rankings. There’s the heavy hitters and some that trend lower, but I don’t think I’ve seen a complete match yet.

Love that there’s diversity in the discussion this year.

No actors beyond an occasional appearance by Art. Both times we saw him around Club Horror he was dressed as Santa Art.

So I remember the park wide loop this year being stated to be original by Universal, did that end up being the case? I need these tracks in my life and would love to listen to them.

They are mostly songs that were licensed out of a movie production catalog, but they definitely set a spooky mood. It’s not just rock instrumentals this year.

putting ladies in stages to dance around was a smart way to deal with this area ( they also did it with Rob zombie) but only 3 dancers seems so little.
it's so weird. they could have had at least 2 chainsaws roaming around.

It was interesting and a little weird to experience a new experience from UOR post-Epic Universe. Does that make sense?

We were waiting for that park for so, so long. It's a strange feeling; not only is Epic's opening in the rearview mirror now, but we've got our next new attraction too. It's .. a little surreal honestly! haha

TBH it's a bit better going back to the North Campus now compared to my first Epic experience in the spring where I was so absorbed by the new park. The differing vibes help a lot, and seeing Rockit's demolition feels like we're entering a new chapter for USF/IOA (hopefully).

I think the demand for the roaming Art this year justifies a more personal M&G location for the character. The event is too busy to unfortunately accommodate such an experience with guests chasing him everywhere here goes.

Would love to see them establish more personal M&G locations for future events with IP characters. I'm sure people will love that.

Shrek/VC space could work for that.

I keep seeing posts on social media of the madness surrounding Art. Why is Orlando like this? Hollywoods crowd seems so chill in comparison.

seems to be mostly influencers and Tiktokers and stuff, everyone with a camera out to catch Art and post it. to get views.
almost every person around him has their phone out. like if art was in some kind of weird simulation.

Would have been a better tribute store location if they were able to fit it here.

Initially yes, but I think people just want a photo with him. Most people following him just want to see him and grab a photo.

Yeah - I don't think it's all influencers, either. I saw a couple of people running after him down Delancy, yelling, "Art. Stop!". Embarassing.

It truly is remarkable how much of a different vibe the Hollywood reactions are.

No, I think people aren't as thirsty over there to hunt for that viral moment. They'll film Art, but they won't be obnoxious about it.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if, in Hollywood, that sort of behavior is perceived as pretty cringe. It’s not necessarily being “used to celebrity” but more “I don’t want to look like I’m not NOT use to celebrity.”

Orlando is a way more touristy, “Oh-my-god-look-at-this-oh-my-god-look-at-that” sort of atmosphere.

Just want to quickly bring up the Deathly Afraid necklace after a few visits/weekends of my girlfriend utilizing it. She does not like being scared and is deathly afraid of looking at the houses.

After 3 weekends and multiple visits, not only is the event more enjoyable for her, it's allowed her to feel comfortable with the zones (she would previously walk on the sidewalks, now she doesn't use the necklace), and is starting to feel more comfortable in the houses and looks around more (would previously close her eyes entirely).

The necklace had no impact in the scare zones when she would wear it (if anything they went after me more often).

Ultimately the point of the necklace is to get people more comfortable with the event overall where they don't need to use it eventually. It certainly helps when your significant other is a rabid HHN fan and spends 2 months out of the year at the event.

I would say from reviews I see and from videos around, Hollywood crowd is more like, more adult? but Orlando is more family/ teen ( that includes couples without kids) more touristy like Legacy said.
but I've heard of more fights over there.
