LA Haunted Hayride & Queen Mary's Dark Harbor both were filled with animatronics you can find at home depot, lowes, spirit, etc... it would be a severely massive downgrade for HHN. They also would not work for an event that sees never-ending crowds of people like HHN.

HHN needs the human element, staffing be damned.

I’m a little out of the loop when it comes to speculation this year, but I see I’ve been slacking. There’s actually serious talk of 12 houses this year!? Can they actually afford to properly staff it and not pad them with black wallz?? Are we gonna see a repeat house like when they repeated AWiL back in 25 when they added a ninth house??

I couldn’t make it this past year but it sounds like the event is still plenty crowded, but apparently crowded to the point to where they need more houses. I’m honestly kinda mixed about the thought of them adding another house, let alone two more. I personally think 10 is plenty. I think 11 would be adequate but stretching it. 12 is too overwhelming IMO. I would rather they add a show, which I understand is difficult to do as we went over that a while back.

A: HRRR is closing B: epic is gonna bring in a ton of people. C: having a show isnt gonna help as much as a house because they dont have shows all night.

Those are all very fair points. I’m sure there are going to be a lot of people like me holding out until September to check out Epic and HHN at the same time.

i do think having that circle right in front of fear factor have more of a theme. may get more people to visit

HHN needs to do what they won't. Put a lock on ticket sales.

Unless you go multiple nights or pay $$$ for express (or RIP), you'll miss out on all the houses due to the crowds (and backtracking to get to the next house).

The lack of shows hurts the guest experience & eliminates the availability to "sit" for 20-30min outside of a dining area (which probably has no seating left anyway).

Adding more houses without adding anything else to balance it out just seems terrible.

First, any scarezones that could possibly be coming back as houses?

I think this is so far all the houses that were scarezones first.

Second, why was kidzone only used twice as a scarezone in 2008 and 2009 then never again?

You’re forgetting Saws and Steam, which was the first zone-to-house transition.

As for zone to house, Torture Faire could fit the bill.

Honestly, nothing original was strong enough that I would love to see back. Leave 33 alone as "One & Dones"

Yes, because it’s basically all the cabling that runs between Fear Factor and MiB.

I've mentioned before that, diverting from Torture Faire & peeking further into her realm, Sinist3r could carry an original house any year Universal might want to try "Hellraiser without paying for the rights to use Hellraiser". *shrug*

With them continuing to push lil boo merch (seems like he's back again this year), is this the final year to capitalize on it and end on a high note by going all out with merch and sequel house?

I'm not sure they won't. They capped multnight Express last year (and experimented with the low-crowd preview night). They seem well aware of the issue, and open to fixing it however they can.

Tho I agree, need to upgrade the food and show options, too. Capacity can't be just new houses.
