Especially with Rip Ride Rock-It leaving mid-event, this park needs to be prepped to deal with the crowds that will no doubt arrive this year. 11-12 houses is a good idea, but the event needs variety too. That was my big problem with last year's event. Outside of simply running through all 10 houses, there was just nothing else to do really. It got boring substantially quicker than previous events.
I really don't think it's out of the question for them to offer:
- An HHN-specific Lagoon Show
- More variety in Zone show moments
- Random Streetmosphere like the M3gan horde, or the chainsaw gangs.
- Icons or other characters in queue lines or randomly across the event a la Jack during HHN30
- Transformers (The absence of this ride honestly hurt the event a ton for me. I didn't think it would, but it's a solid, non-coaster thrill attraction to do usually for less than 20-30 minutes. A wonderful palate cleanser after a number of houses. Sorely missed.)
They've done all of this and more in the past. Losing HRRR as a guest eater is going to be really terrible for the event imo. A second stage show or extra rides like E.T. or Fallon would be preferred but are probably off the table. I also think the experience of queuing, watching, and exiting HNF is an absolute and literal Nightmare, requiring a significant amount of time out of your night and a long time spent jam-packed in a humid, warm, and loud environment.
Fixing any of these issues will help a ton, but all of them combined would really lead to an immeasurable improvement imo.
I always said that hhn needs meet and greet events, and last year they " kind of" did it with the 4 hhn characters that were standing on the stages by the open bar areas, ( with the punk sull guy that was there and the goblin)
but the problem with that is that the characters they picked were too generic.
so I acknowledge that universal did something new, but maybe it needs to be more famous, recognizable characters, maybe Michael Myers and Megan and stuff ( this would obviously bring in long lines for photos. needed to be organized)
I'm just replying to you about the Streetmosphere,
and yeah the streets definitely need more interactive stuff. more places for people to check.
I've always said that hhn also needs a zombie band, a small 3 people music band playing covers or something, nothing huge, maybe something like where the blues brothers play in the park, put a zombie or ghoul band or vampire band playing music
we had this cool little robot guy back in 2007.
bring him back. he was very memorable. have a robot band playing music. ( 2006 also had the giant robot eating cars robosaurus, bring it back.) bring them back.
horror nights needs live entertainment.
nothing huge. not a stage show. needs something like what the coconut club does,
this little robot was really entertaining back then
This honestly breaks my heart a bit if it's true. TLOU 2 was something I was really looking forward to... I made a whole house outline for it and everything. Man. Fallout is one of my dream IPs so at least there's that but I can't help but be sad about TLOU 2.
I get you but, the way I see it, we already had last of us but never fallout, I prefer something new than a sequel. and the last of us second season will come out so at least we will have the show.
