It’s not a museum. And there may not actually be an artist at all. The house may just have an art aficionado with some paintings hanging up (which was what triggered the “artist” rumor in the first place).

Basically, there is still very little known about the CONTENT of this house.

If it Monstruos 2 (or something similar, like a Spanish Scary Tales), then it’s NOT an “artist” house. I don’t even think that version of the house has an “artist” character.

So basically all that's known is that there were paintings spotted? Or nothing was spotted and it's been a "whisper down the lane" kind of thing?

I know using screens aren't the most exciting for haunts, but the same kind of tech like they use for the "live" paintings in Wizarding World could be interesting and scary if done right.

The whole “OMG Killustrator” started because some paintings in a manor setting were spotted.

More (small) details are starting to reveal themselves (like the potential language of the house), but still not enough to fully know what the house IS.

To ride the art metaphor, it’s like staring at a painting from inches away. You see the details, but can’t see the actual picture.

EDIT - it’s like how the “Christmas house” rumor started because there was some work being done on the AC for one of the tents.

Thinking on it, this could apply to a couple things.

If it's in the context of a zone having a sequel as a zone, there's really one zone on the rumored line-up that would fit and that's the Mardi Gras zone. We've had Zombie Gras in 2010, so we could have a sequel to that...if it's Mardi Gras, that is.

If the zone turns out to be more of an opulent Masquerade, well we had Blood Masquerade in 2006, so that could possibly have a sequel. We know the event does love their vamps, though you could have some other monsters join the soiree in disguise.

But if it's in the context of a house being a sequel to a zone, there's two firm options.

The rumored Viking house: Back in 2019 we had Vikings Undead, so a viking house could very well be a sequel to that.

The rumored Graveyard house: I mean, dual scythes have been in the rumored symbol for quite a while, we had Death and Sleep in 2022's excellent Graveyard zone, there's Jeffery Gooner talking about how the house is akin to Graveyard Games and the Graveyard zone...quack quack quack.

I think it could be a house translation of Graveyard as well considering the story of the zone involves a storm awaking the spirits, and the house apparently having lightning and rain effects.

Anyone else find the WWE rumor incredibly lame ? Like I may actually skip that house based on the theme , something I’ve never done in HHN history.

We've had worse IP choices over the years.

Also it's not out of the realm of rumors since Hollywood had an WWF house in 2000

If you only go one or two nights that’s a great plan, but if you go 2+ nights, give it a chance as an original. What I did with Weeknd and it turned out to be a good house.

We’ll see. I just haven’t been interested in WWE since it was still the WWF. Like 40 years ago lol. I understand people love it. I just think it’s a terrible idea for a haunted house. Regardless of brand recognition.

My prediction is the FNAF house will be the headliner this year. There is a ton of pent up demand for this franchise. A lot of kids that grew up with it , will be making the trip.

Same thing I said about Weeknd. And that was a popular house. I ended up appreciating it more than I thought I would.

Most people did not like the Penn and Teller house, but I always thought it was a very underrated house. I enjoyed it very much. So just because something is not necessarily word doesn’t mean it can’t translate to such.

I’ve never watched WWE a day in my life, but I’m gonna go in with an open mind. I may hate the house, but at least I tried.

What if I told you that the character designs are likely to be top notch?

From what I hear, it’s not just going to be “Hey, look at this dude in his underwear”

Yeah i hear ya. I actually liked the Penn and Teller house. The Weeknd house was just “ok” to me personally. I also understood it as a horror property though.

I mean I saw the Undertaker face Hulk Hogan at Royal Rumble. Hard to believe this is still a thing.

I just think to pre-judge on a IP before we even know any sorta story or anything is a bit harsh.

I’m not here to make friends. Just to express my thoughts. My initial reaction to a WWE house is “yuck” . I guess I just picture sweaty shirtless muscle dudes running after me with fake blood on their faces.

I’ll be happy to be wrong.

I have ZERO interest in WWF/WWE/any wrestling too. But as I know nothing about it (unless it's Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant from my youth), I look at it as a 6th original house for me. I mean, I had zero interest in dust bowl blues musicians, but loved Darkest Deal. If the wrestling house is about wrestlers making deals with the devil or some other entity, to be able to sacrifice their bodies for "our" entertainment, that could be pretty cool. If it has "heel" wrestlers who sell out to the devil vs "baby faces" who are on the side of good, it would be an interesting demons vs angles situation by proxy.

Of course, on the flip side, if they have 5 established wrestlers and every other room is their entrance music with them strutting around before a room with them fighting, that will be horribly boring in my opinion and would be a house I'd do a couple times and be done with it.
