Throwing a thought out—what if Orlando did a La Lechuza and requested for Hollywoods Crowz to be shipped to Orlando.

At least on the spec map for Hollywood, the Murder of Crowz zone is anticipated to return. Given how popular the crowz have become as recurring characters out west, I doubt they would give them up and send them to Florida.

the only house i question is fallout the others make sense but fallout seems out of place to me

If your only exposure to Fallout is the Amazon series, I can see why you'd think that. But Fallout has encompassed a ton of horror from pretty twisted social science/medical experiments on Vault residents to the more mundane horrors of a post-apocalyptic society.

My only concern is it sounds like they're basing the house more on the series than the games, so....I'm cautiously hyped.

For me, I don't see this year as weird. Potentially landing not one but multiple IP's with fairly large fanbases is honestly impressive.

And it's as I've said before, getting multiple big IP's that'll have a good chance of drawing sizable lines is probably the best way to counter the loss of Rip, Ride, Rockit this year. Though I will say, best of luck to anyone that does the New York Stay and Scream this year because I don't doubt that'll be extra packed!

Now as for a potential Icon, I personally don't see one happening this year. I think folks are making a reach over the codenames. Yes, the codenames follow a theme (as the house codenames on the permits show its clearly plants), but that doesn't mean in any way, shape or form that an Icon is coming.

Bethesda does some pretty good horror in unexpected places. Hell, I've been playing the Oblivion remake and seeing moments that could translate well into another cool medieval fantasy house.

I think there is huge potential for this year and I think the IPs sound like absolute bangers/crowd draws even if they aren't the IPs I want or would choose. As for the hype for WWE all I can say is this. Am I excited for it directly? No. But most years the houses I am most excited for fall flat (Museum, The Last of Us) and houses I least expect anything from end up being bangers (Darkest Deal), so I think WWE could end up being amazing haha.

Makes me think of Legendary Truth in 2010 where the one scareactor had a "backwards" outfit and rode down a hallway on rollerskates on your left, appearing to be zooming past you.

Even earlier, 2015. I've been going for a little under a decade, 26 was my first event, and I've never seen Friday represented. This'll be legitimately really huge for the event if it happens.

I just booked my hotel for opening weekend. I'm not 100% sure if I'll stick with it, but after nearly missing the event last year due to work, I'm not taking chances again and want to hold a hotel before prices go up. The house lineup is too good on paper if these rumors stick. I'm very likely coming in late October no matter what regardless if I double up on trips.

Now, if some houses could be announced and Frequent Fear Passes could go on sale, I would greatly appreciate that...

No they said it'd be huge to have F13 since they've never seen it represented at the event. FvsJ was huge because NLC at the time wouldn't allow any references to it in either house in 2007.

Not a bad idea, heck my parents are now contemplating taking their trip down here after they've heard rumblings of the lineup.

As for announcements and FFP's, the latter is most likely coming later in the announcement season as usual. I know I'm patiently waiting for them as it seems like the number of days I'm going are potentially increasing. I'm attending a convention Labor Day weekend and are already planning on going opening night since I'm so close to the parks, and if any of my friends wants to hit the event up during the weekend I figure why not?

For the announcements themselves, I'm guessing we'll start getting them within two weeks. Some are hoping we'll get something like single day tickets dropped next week, but I'm in the boat where things will kick off the first week of June.
