You so right but I'm think Vikings is a safe bet now and fully expecting it tomorrow. And FNAF and Terifier are also safe bets. Only one is not safe is WWE. A surprise and I'm wrong is always possible and very much welcomed.

Man I really hope the Wyatt Sicks house is real. Went from my least anticipated to probably my most anticipated once I started looking into it.

Do we think universal expanded the budget and sets/detailing for HHN this year?
With Epic now open and that bringing in potentially a bunch of new clientele, and future expansions with year round attractions, could they be looking to capitalize on this with a big year to win people over?
With the hype behind this years IP's and now the details coming out about how well the original house are visually. It just feels like Uni is really going to invest this year in potentially larger scare zones, highly detailed sets, and large IP's (already done). Just feels like their is a real focus/pressure this year on making good impressions, while we're all familiar with how rough last year was, it just feels different this year.
Time will tell!

My worry would be that a lot of attention might actually be going to Vegas right now. The stakes are higher for the new year-round attractions, so I would hope/guess/fear that they might be devoting significant resources to making the best first impressions there. I don't really know what the creative split is between all the different teams though and they're cloning all the houses so they prob don't need quite as much attention as the event itself.

I would imagine that there was still a lot of budget (construction, marketing, hiring, etc) used in the first two quarters of the year before they started seeing a return on the investments (mostly) in the third quarter and beyond.

Obviously, budgets for HHN were doled out well in advance of third quarter. I'm sure that the planned drop in Epic capital investments were taken into account, but I would put my money on a flat to mayyyyybe a small bump budget for HHN this year.

Some interesting concepts but man, the scarezones better be a laugh riot.

With the rumored zones, at the moment I don't think they read that way.

Now I can see some of them taken on the fun and playful side, but that's something we generally don't know until we see the zones in action.

But overall, this feels like a very Horror-centric year. Now your milage may absolutely vary if you like that or not, myself I'm fine with it, but I can understand if one doesn't.

Yeah the originals this year all seem really scary. None of them I think on paper sound like they could be a comedy house. Very curious which one (IP or original) it will be !

This is an odd thing to say and it is absolutely based on first impressions and very limited info, but it feels like the originals will have a very limited color palette - lots of browns and greys. No brighter colored houses like Sweets or Bugs. Perhaps the artist house will have some splashes of color - but based on Goya…
