Heard one radio ad that was heavily focused on Fallout. Not sure if there are others or if that'll be the main focus.

The one I heard was half Fallout, half Terrifier(!) on WMMO. I guess it makes sense that they're not pushing FNAF on terrestrial FM radio since I'm the youngest person who still listens to it, but if they were going to include Jason in the campaign at all then 98.9 the Gen X 80s nostalgia dad rock station seems like the venue for him. Terrifier feels more like a 101.1 WJRR property to me

Looks like the Jaws/Amity props have been removed from San Fran - wonder if we could see some props/photo ops pop up for Club Horror?

Some new merch pictures about. The zone shirt is a real winner, but they keep pushing the name “Origin of Fear.” What does it mean? How does it relate to anything at the event? Is that the subtitle of this year’s HHN?

Putting this in here as more overall event discussion.

I genuinely believed we weren’t receiving additional props because of the new Stay and Scream update, which was the why the zones have been plussed this year.

Seems that’s not true!

I'm curious how they'll handle pulling props out with people not being locked into S&S areas!

Much easier actually.

2 years ago they realized they had a growing problem with the S&S in NY being backed up resulting in a delay for loading the rollable props. They had trouble moving some of the props in Vamp 69 with the Stranger Things queue in the way.

They already roll props in and out of the Hollywood area with no problem, so I think it'll be just fine. This new process actually gets people out of the way as they'll be backstage in queues by 5PM

Also, as one S&S holding area was already sorta a scarezone already, I would imagine it really isn't a problem.

If you look closely behind the sign, you can see the blue scaffolding that holds the projector. There's also a couple other angles from bio which show it better.

I just hope they keep the corny public domain Skeletons in the key art this year. Always reminded me of these memes.

I don't wanna jinx anything, but this is looking to be one of the best hhn years that universal ever made.

the detailed streets, the ips they picked , the houses, the lagoon show is back. might be the most fun year.
looks like it's gonna be so good

2019 is my favorite year that I've attended - and this lineup is looking like it has the potential to top it.

All about the execution!

Hi there. It's a couple of things – see below from my interview with Lora Sauls:

"This year, we're basically saying we are the origin of horror. And that's a big statement, and I think really Universal could say, period, Universal is the origin of horror. And our first scare zone, as soon as you walk in the park, as soon as you go through those turnstiles, and you enter that conservatory, you're entering The Origins of Horror, where you're going to see some of our most primal fears, crows and bats and gargoyles and cats. Those are some very primal fears, right? People that don't even like horror are afraid of a black cat crossing their path. People that don't even go to horror movies are afraid of crows, are afraid of bats. So we're going back to those primal fears and having that origins of horror throughout the scare zones and throughout the park."
