This is the first year they're offering the 5-house tour so no one really knows. The full tour includes a few stops for drinks/bathroom so I assume the 5-house tour will have one break in the middle.

Ah, I was seeing stories that it was offered in previous years as an in-person only offering previous years like the after 10 Express, but there wasn't a whole lot to go on.

Just bought FFP+ and it gave me a "this product is not available" when I tried to set the start date for 8/28. 8/29 was still available though. Only one data point but it seems like they may be getting fairly aggressive about limiting FFP capacity for opening weekend. (either that or it was just a technical glitch lol).

I was able to purchase in last 20min with a 8/28 start date so don’t think they’re capped yet (if they will be at some point).

I don't remember leaving anything else in my cart on the app, but the whole time I was buying FFP for me and my husband, a top banner said, "Some items in your cart are sold out" and I was panicking a little lol but it let me purchase and now both FFPs are in my wallet, so I suppose all is well! A hard truth this morning. While I enjoy the extra $600 in my bank account, if controlling crowds is the new mantra, HHN can't keep selling tickets at <$10 per night. The limited nature of the event encourages passholders to visit at a rate not comparable to other theme parks.

I spent about $600 MORE than I would have with express included. I am going fewer nights and probably spending less time in the parks on my days without express, so will get that money back in less in-park spending.

Yes, but the hotel desk gives you nice lanyard sized tickets! Or they did for me 2 years ago, last year I just sucked it up and used my phone.

Do they still give physical tickets at the hotel desks? I inquired last year about having them printed and was told that if you have a mobile ticket, you cannot get a printed ticket.

On the flip side, we upgraded our mobile Express passes last year to Unlimited at the hotel desk - and they gave us physical ones.

My hotel (Sapphire) did for my party last year. And, frankly, if they refuse this year when I’m paying them $8k for my 10 day stay, they’ll get an earful from me.

By my understanding and what my group has been told once you get your ticket printed for HHN it won’t work in the app anymore.

I was told that as well, said printing it out changes the ticket #, my app still worked along side the Printed ticket. My wallet did update with a new ticket number though, so somewhat accurate if the wallet doesn't update.

I like to save my phone battery (especially this year for the AAP) and always get a printed ticket. I never tried to use my phone.

Okay, I’ll say it …. Universal needs wristbands that consolidate all tickets and your hotel key. You know like some other nearby park does.

I HATE how many different tickets I have to juggle. Especially because we also hit Epic and VB.

Was able to snag a ROF and 3 Express Days. Wil probably get 1-2 more express days in the upcoming weeks as long as they don't go up too high.

Do they still sell discounted Express some nights after a certain time? I could try for those on the days I don't have it.

Well I purchased my express passes for 5 nights, seeing as I’m a Premier Passholder, it will be cheaper for me to purchase 4 single nights and get the fifth one free. Got to wait for the reservation system to open up for the free ticket, also, the app suggests I get a discount on single night tickets too.

My 2 cents = the 3 houses that open at 2pm will be in the Soundstages (Stranger Things 5, Jack & Oddfellow, and either Ozzy/Evil Dead Burn).

The early open houses will be a combination of the 3 house Unmasking the Horror tour and the one house that is not on either tours. At 2:00 people will still be touring the houses on the 6 house Unmasking the Horror Tour.

I'm considering the 5-house R.I.P. tour to dip my feet into a V.I.P. tour for the first time. Does anyone have any experience with what it includes outside of the houses? Does it include a stop at the Fallon bar? Not sure what's included in the 2.5 hours (I can't imagine the houses would take that long) and the description wasn't too helpful.

Yes, after 11 for about half the price that day. Assume they still do that this year? I would go to guest services on your first day and get the after 11 for the day you want it, no need to wait for that night, at least in the past that is what I was able to do. One of my early years I bought after 11 for multiple days in the future at guest services during the morning.
