We've cleaned up the thread a bit. For everyone involved in that earlier discussion, let's keep things focused on HHN 35 Spec going forward and leave that specific topic where it stands. What needed to be said has been said, and there are no ill feelings toward anyone.

With both Legacy and Pinhead pointing towards Ozzy, that idea for a house begins to feel more real, and I'm super excited. It would be the equivalent of WWE last year - a little niche and a loving tribute - but because I am an Ozzy fan in a way I am not a WWE fan (no shade, just not as familiar), I can imagine it being very special.

If we assume that Ozzy is happening, I'd think that would largely put the Lady Gaga rumor to bed, since I think we almost surely would not get 2 of 5 of our shared IPs being music.

It is also beginning to feel to me like we're starting to get close to that point from last year where we basically knew FNAF, Fallout, Terrifier, and probably Jason were coming - still some room for surprises, but the field is crystallizing, which is also exciting.

With all of the hype and good word of mouth behind the new Resident Evil game, I’m surprised they’re apparently not doing it this year. The new game could’ve made for a baller house!

I’m even more surprised considering we had two video game-based IPs last year and now we’re not having any this year….well Hellraiser will be video game adjacent but I don’t think it will be based on the game.

We know for a fact that the Hellraiser rights have been, for lack of a better word, hell to pin down. Barker finally got most (all?) of them back and the first thing being released related to that acquisition is a video game.

Could this be an instance of them opting the game over the movies to avoid any possible legal ramifications?

I mean, they did it before with The Shining.

I mean, they did it before with The Shining.

I think the fact that Hellraiser is popping up in lots of places - new video game but also new comics, no merch, etc. - is very strong indication we will get Hellraiser without many limits (similar to what happened with Jason last year, when it was, again, the year of the merch and marketing blitz for that property).

How have The “Killer Klowns” scarezone/house rumors holding up. I am trying my best to temper my expectations, but you have no idea how STOKED I will be if those rumors end up being true.

*Edit* Also, I hope it’s coming to Florida too, and NOT just Hollywood again. I would be very upset if that was the case.

Literally every year since Covid (Even years before then!) HHNH always has at least one exclusive IP and 9 times out of 10 it’s a repeat or an IP they’ve done before. KKfOS is most likely going to be a Hollywood exclusive unfortunately.

I believe the current rumor is still that KKFOS will be a house in Hollywood and a scare zone in Florida.

I'm with ya, brother! Each comment pointing at this has my hopes back up again. For a while there, it seemed like this rumor literally went off the crazy train rails - all this heavy metal hell stuff tied to some band I've never heard of. Let me qualify that statement by saying - no shade from me either - just because I haven't heard of the band you all were referring to means nothing except that I'm old.

That being said, I can say for 100% positive that an Ozzy house would bring in a very wide range of fans of all ages from all over the world. Being a massive Ozzy fan my whole life, I paid a lot of attention to the outpouring of love and grief after he passed - which was seemingly across every continent. He was a beloved legend. So, if Uni can do a house as a tribute to a WWE star who passed, I think doing an Ozzy house would be a no-brainer. If this announcement comes, I am sure I will burst into tears. I've wished for many IPs in my two plus decades of attending, but this one is above them all. I would trade Pennywise and the Conjuring for Ozzy.. and that's saying a lot.

Please make it happen. Please.
