Why do you think Ozzy was the IP that fell thru?

Because of Ozzy’s recent passing. The I.P holders might have seen a preview of that house and thought one of the scenes would have been “too soon” for them. That just seems like the most realistic IP that Universal may have lost the rights to.

I don't think there's any evidence right now to suggest that an IP has been dropped. Lora Wallace stated last year that 35 would have 5 original houses, which would suggest there will be 5 IPs as well.

The planned Hollywood exclusive dropped, and was replaced by Killer Klowns.

I’ve gotta agree. Out of all the possible IPs to repeat, that’s honestly not one that i would be excited for as a house again. Also, i think it’s fine if they’re just part of the rumored clown scarezone

I agree. As a scarezones KKFOS would fit the theme this year. As a repeat house? #nothanks

Finally something we can agree on. In all serious though, I am fine with a Scarezone (before you post, Yes I am aware I have been beating a dead horse with KKFOS throughout the entire spec season. No need to tell me, I honestly have no idea why I keep brining this I.P. up), any representation is good Rep for me.

As someone who doesn't care much about Halloween besides Rob Zombie's version, this is a bummer, even if Orlando wouldn't have gotten it. This would've been a cool concept to see, though I don't know if Legacy of Leatherface was any good.

For what it's worth--my gut tells me this idea might come back down the road, but for now I think there simply just couldn't of been an agreement. A shame, tbh.

No it won’t - because there is no story.

Unlike HHN Hollywood, Orlando doesn’t do repeats (only exception with American Werewolf in London for HHN 25).

KKFOS isn’t strong enough of an IP to warrant a repeat house. Sorry not sorry.

Orlando generally doesn't do exact repeats, but they have featured the same film multiple times, like Halloween and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. If Killer Klowns ever came back, it would need to be redesigned to fit within a new space anyway, since the Shrek house location is gone.

Hard disagree here. It feels like Killer Klowns has become more prevalent in pop culture lately, especially compared to when the house first debuted. It has a new film in early production, it had a video game not too long ago, and I've seen an increasing amount of apparel produced for it at places like Spirit Halloween, and even at Universal Parks a couple months ago. It does have a sizable following for what it is.
