Are you guys sure on the locations for the mazes.?

...heres a interesting thought. What if were not getting the original Halloween film but getting Halloween 2 and Halloween 3: Season of The Witch? As in 2009, it was based on the first film with some bits of the Rob Zombie incarnation.

The 2009 Maze had scenes from the first two films and had small nods to Season of the Witch throughout. Had nothing to do with Zombie besides the aged look of the masks.I was thinking the façade could be Tommy Doyle's house.

Just spitballing here but maybe start off in the climax of Halloween and then focus the rest in the setting of Halloween 2?

It makes sense. All we're seeing right now are flat walls, so the façade very well could end up being a house. We'll have to wait & see what other framework they put up within the next week or so.

I'm so glad there are no 3D mazes this year, especially after the recycled atrocity that was Clowns 3D last year. That was all kinds of bad, which is a shame because it was such a great concept. Murdy needs to take a cue from Orlando's 2011 3D house "The In-Between". It was done so well (where they went wrong after that with Penn & Teller or Afterlife, I will never know). But, yay no 3D!

That is pretty much what I was thinking already. Plus "Halloween 2 & 3" are both Universal films.

Halloween II and Season of the Witch are two entirely different films. It wouldn't make any sense to combine them in one maze.

Its HHN, it isn't always going to make sense when dealing with an IP. Look at the past F13 & NOES mazes (not the remake versions), they used scenes that were a collection of different kills from the different films (if I remember correctly. F13 even had the FvsJ bed-folding kill. too lazy to check). If it was executed a certain way, they could feature both Halloween 2 & 3 within the same maze.

Think of it along the lines of "All Halloween costumes in Haddonfield are supplied by Silver Shamrock".... Michael Myers had to get his costume somewhere. I don't know. I don't expect both movies to be used, but I wouldn't be surprised if this year's maze was based on one of them. Or it could just be a "famous kills" maze for the entire franchise (minus the 2 zombie films).

Notice how it's 90% the original Halloween with the trick-or-treaters from Halloween III, idk it has been 6 years since they originally did a Halloween maze so I don't see it as an issue that it would be an almost repeat of the maze from 6 years ago.

Orlando's house last year was basically the maze from 2009, right down to the silhouette projection kill in the upstairs window of the façade. Murdy sent reference material & whatnot to Aiello, then Aiello made a few tweaks to make last year's house different. I would not expect this year's maze to copy the changes Orlando made, but then again.... I wouldn't be surprised either.

The façade pretty much confirms we are getting something different from previous incarnations. So that's pretty exciting.

Yea. I've been told that we should expect to see a few static Michael Myers mannequins in this year's maze, along with Michael Myers scareactors. I find this to be rather odd & hard to believe, but I guess it could make sense depending on the scene. Not to mention, Murdy's over-reliance on using mannequins...

I'm wondering if we'll see Orlando's strobe light filled "crowded room" gag/scare...

If the facade is going to be the hospital, that hallway can easily resolved by making it a hospital hallway full of doors.

HorrorBuzz posted a new photo of the façade. Looks like the Myers house now. 

Not sure why the need for the additional walls sticking out on the side?

I couldn't even begin to guess the reason for that... unless Michael Myers felt the need to expand the house to have more space.. Every serial killer needs a spacious home to kill in... haha

We'll know within another week or two what the extended sides are for, my guess would be pathway for guests or backstage access for scareactors. It is weird though.
