All mazes are in construction but the mummy queue.?!

& no they start earlier by now they should've had the walls going up

Mice Chat posted an update and it didn't look like anything was happening over there. But I guess it's just in an area that can't be seen.

The Mummy house venue can be seen on the Starway as you go down or up. Its just a little hard to see.

I'll elaborate on what Ullis said. It has started prep. It hasn't gone vertical with walls. And correct me if i'm wrong but usally, isn't the Mummy venue the fastest to go up? As forgot when they started last year. I believe there was more prep last year due to the usage of 3D visuals.

Yeah that's what I meant by them not having started construction yet. I wasn't able to see any walls. But I'll trust they know what they're doing haha. Isn't that where This Is The End is rumored to be?

Hah... yea right, like Clowns 3D actually required all kinds of prep work.. it was 90% recycled sets, not much prep required. But yes, This is the End will be located in the Mummy queue.

Usually Parisian Courtyard (or any other Upper Lot maze in the past) seems to be the last to start construction due to it requiring the maze to take away from daytime park space. However, with all of the Upper Lot construction, it doesn't seem to matter much this year. Which is why Mummy isn't further along by now. Also, I'm sure with it being Halloween & that being announced at ScareLA, that had something to do with it as well.

AVP was able to start first due to being unseen inside SS747... it seems that construction almost coincides with announcements. Or in the case of Crimson Peak, it was announced first due to SDCC.

Construction never starts this late unless some pretty large changes happen. Last maze to start this late was Dracula Untold... and for those who witnessed that in person know how that turned out. Never a good sign to just see carpet in August.

Lets hope that some large change in the form of a different maze entirely instead of This is the End happening. I shouldn't joke, but watch Clowns 3D return now with music by Figure! :wacko:

Well, if they are going to have Dr. Lomis as just a voice over, that right there tells me it won't be quite as good as 09's rendition (Which was darn amazing when I went for my first year.) I think this will be fun, but I doubt it will live up to the legacy that was the first one they did.

Haha.... there was more to Dracula Untold than unthemed black walls!  However, that one hallway with the "tickler effect" could've been done sooooo much better, especially after the "bat attack" tank, which I thought was kinda cool.

As for Halloween, I love that someone commented on the IU FB pic of the façade & was all "here is what Orlando's façade looked like last year".  So naturally, "Here is what Hollywood's façade looked like in 2009. Same damn façade complete with projection window".

Moving on to something better... IU got some maze construction updates today

To be honest; it reminds me of more the older times of HHN history, as there were dance shows for HHN past. Atleast its something to get peoples butts inside a theatre to lessen waits.
