On another Horror Nights site/forum, the Orlando folks pretty much have all of their IP houses figured out Although not 100% they're pretty certain through speculation and sources.

Apparently their IPs will be Insidious, Freddy Vs. Jason, The Walking Dead, Scream, and...this may shock some of you...American Werewolf again.

Looks like we found out three of our houses right there. We'll likely be sharing TWD, Insidious, and FVJ. We're not getting Scream since Murdy openly said he doesn't want to do it. I don't see us repeating AWiL since Either Insidious or FVJ will be going in where it was last year. FVJ was fully designed in 2011 but got scrapped and replaced with Alice Cooper (Remember "Nacasio"?).

And for the record, I'm glad we're not getting Scream. I've always wanted a house based on the original movies, but, from the teaser shown, the MTV series looks AWFUL. Feel bad for Florida getting that crap.

Remember, while this is likely happening from what I've read on that site, nothing is 100% AND CAN CHANGE ANYTIME.

I wish we could have a Jurassic World maze. This year especially.

Yeah, I agree looks like it will have to be at USH this year if there is one at all.

It makes me wonder more of the Out-of-the-box IP. And it could be a really big wildcard for the event in a way we haven't seen it so i'll not guess that. I do agree that FVJ, TWD, and Insidious is coming back as those are the biggest IPS in the Hollywood Horror Nights so it will add more curiosity to what-else we will get.

Would it be possible to just do a big "Versus" theme and bring back AVP in addition to Freddy vs. Jason and maybe throw in another to boot like Dracula vs. Frankenstein?

I know it won't happen but that'd be a great idea of doing a year of HHN Hollywood having a lot of IPS in but meshing it. Imagine a FVJ house, Classic Monster battle House, AVP coming back but more in the Vein of Orlandos with Hadleys Hope, and they could bring in TWD again as the Walkers vs the Factions. Then they could bring a story of Universal Studios Hollywood getting a large traction of creatures of these and the Terror Tram could bring in Killer Clowns fighting freak type people at the Whoville sets, Classic Monsters fighting at the Bates Motel ground floor then you would go into the Woods where Freddy and Jason would fight and then go to TWD over at the War of the Worlds sets. Sure, it won't happen but it'd be a great way of bringing a lot of people. Unfortunately, it won't happen...

Aside from Freddy v Jason, looks like it'll be up to the original mazes for Orlando to help spruce up the event. At least Insidious should be good. I'm mostly going there to see Bill and Ted anyways.

Still really hoping for a JW maze at USH. It would actually get me to somehow come and see it.

Freak on HNN gave a rumor out that Hollywoods Creative team is looking to do a Show for this years HHN. I'm going to leave it at that so there and...This isn't anything true but its a plausible way of how the Announcements will Go. And here is my; Timeline of When stuff for HHN will get announced.

June

_________

Along with the Release of Insidious: Chapter III, I have a feeling they will announce "Insidious" to return to HHN Hollywood and Officialy come to HHN Orlando for the first time, making this a shared House.

In the Middle of June, we could see this go two ways, one is the Out-of-the-box IP (I'm leaning to JW for this IP) or the announcement of The Walking Dead officialy returning with two expriences (I found this on HNN and thought it would work well); Fear the Walking Dead would be on the Terror Tram and The Walking Dead will have the Metro Scarezone and House based on Season V and the end of Season IV.

July

_________

I think if the Out-of-the-box IP isn't announced in June, this will get quickly announced in early July. (This is also the case if TWD doesn't get announced in June)

Then in SDCC time, I think FVJ is invetiable. It will get announced for Both Coasts, Orlando and Hollywood.

Then in Late July, most (If not, all scarezones excluding already announced TWD Metro scarezone) would be said.

August

_________

Dark Christmas would be the ScareLA house announcement where it would be a Original/Tie-in to the Krampus film coming later this year

A new Original 3D House based on a Music Icon would get announced the week after Dark Christmases Announcement.

And finally, Crimson Peak will get announced for a House with collaboration with Del Toro and scenes based on the film.

________________

Now, I am probably going to be pretty much Wrong with a good amount of this but to be honest, I think this is how its going down. The biggest year in Horror Nights History and also...

Dark Christmas - Persain

FVJ - SS747

TWD - Same Location

Crimson Peak - FDTD location

3D Rocker House - SS28 (Yes, I am confident and believe this will be there in a large tent)

Insidious - Mummy

Out-of-the-Box IP: Jurassic Park Overflow

I'm going insane here but this is what I believe whats coming to HHN and what we will see. Its probably going to be split in half-right and half-wrong but I just hope I get some of these right.

I don't think Crimson Peak is happening at HHN. If it was, Orlando would share it just like they did with the Thing and Dracula.

Here is my final predicted line-up:

-Krampus (Urban legend/promo maze)

-Iron Maiden (3D rocker maze)

-Walking Dead (Headliner)

-FVJ (Headliner)

-Insidious (2015 movie property)

-Classic Monsters

-Jurassic World (out-of-the-boz/creature maze)

-Terror Tram: Walking Dead (Would rather have the Director back though).

Agree with that too, with the last trailer and finally seeing the Indominus, I can see a hybrid theme easily being used for this maze.

I would love for another JP inspired maze but I doubt it. If anything, the "out-of-the-box" I.P Murdy is referring to is probably Alice in Wonderland, which is rumored as one of the themes coming to Orlando as well. Not to mention he has mentioned constantly that he loves the Lewis Carroll novels.

^I wouldn't be opposed to that theme. It would be out-of-the-box for him, but Knott's has already done it.

I heard the show rumor too, and they would be insane NOT to do it. They need a show. Badly.

I know Murdy's all, "ehhhhhhh I don't like SHOWS". Well tough cookies dude, you have a capacity problem and that's no excuse.

I don't even think anyone on the creative team at Universal even acknowledge Knotts anymore haha. Although they should since I think as an overall event last year, Knotts hands-down was better than HHN.

I really do hope they switch stuff around it's getting too repetitive with the crashing in every year walking dead. I would of loved a scream maze or even Lon Chaney's phantom of the Opera. JW sounds fun though. I really hope the line up is more exiting than last year because the only thing that got me going for last years event was American Werewolf in London and AVP.

Thanks to HHNFanboy, He released the full Monsterpaloza Panel of HHN on his Youtube channel and...theres something interesting. John has slipped but quickly pulled out that his last year as Creative Director for HHN is this year from the 17-20 Second mark. He was going to say it and then quickly changed that to The Tenth year anniversary of the event.

So is everyone ok with the possibility of them bringing The Walking Dead back for a record fourth consecutive time? Seems like most posts have already grown to accepting that is what will inevitably happen. I mean, I am a HUGE Walking Dead fan myself (when I hear the opening theme music, I am immediately taken to HHN and TWD queue area or the terror tram). BUT back-to-back-to-back-to-back years just seems... lazy or a total corporate "yes sir" move. Ok, it's popularity hasn't waned at all, but for all HHN and TWD fans to go through the same backgrounds, props and scares, has some serious doubts in tow and just isn't fair. When Murdy would go back-to-back with Saw, NOES, or the many others, it really killed the anticipation. I have to admit, watching TWD, I would see certain scenes and say to myself; this would be a great part to walk through at HHN. I guess I'd be ok with it if they do a complete overhaul of all new scenes. But then again, I wouldn't be excited at all, and that's why we're all discussing HHN during the off season, the excitement factor.

2009 was the only "fresh" year with no repeat houses (even though there were only 3 in all), could there be any chance of happening for 2015?

Yeah, I'd be shocked if he was continuing. This is going to be his final year. He's got two kids now and is busy with the future project.

I hear you. I'm annoyed by its return, but its popularity has helped our event grow rapidly. That being said, I hope this is the final year of it. I want to see American Horror Story have a chance, but you know they're not going to turn down a huge property just handed to them on a silver platter.

Oh, and don't expect a clean slate for 2015. Judging by Florida's leaked line-up, Freddy Vs. Jason, Insidious, and TWD are for SURE happening.
