The article by HHNRUMORS said that next year we will probably get Season 2, 3, and 6. The good thing about American Horror Story is that each year it will be a new theme so we don't really have to worry all too much about it being the same maze year after year.

Well Murder House(MH) and Hotel(H) are connected? Vivien from MH has relatives in Florida. The same detective from Freak Show(FS) that investigates the freaks investigates the Harmon family in MH. The doctor from MH helps the Countess in H take care of her pregnancy. The real estate agent from MH also is the real estate agent for the hotel. The same psychic played by Sarah Paulson is in MH and H. [And Pepper in FS is from Asylum, but that's not relevant as far as connections go right now.]


I'd say the Murder House could work as a general connecting facade, but maybe it will be something original?

That's exactly what I am thinking to be honest. A giant black wall with AMERICAN HORROR STORY on it. The inside of the maze can house smaller facades for the Murder House, Freak Show and Hotel similar to how the Cabin facade from Evil Dead and Crimson Peak mansion facades were inside the maze.
