Based on how The Scarehouse Haunted Attraction did Krampus last year, I think HHN can pull off just the same amount of elaborate puppetry for the attraction

Yes "American Horror Story" is on it's sixth season and August 6th is the first day of Scarela but the panel for HHN is actually on August 7th.

We finally get the return of Icons..and it acutally is the best use of Icons in this case.

I think it's moreof the fact that Walking Dead isn't the main advertisement this year (took long enough, damn) than the four being USF-like "icons".

So we just have two/three announcements left (depending on how they handle Terror Tram), one of which is Krampus, and I got to say that it's a fairly strong list but mostly for the west coast. Freddy vs Jason was one of last year's disappointments at Orlando, though I wonder if Murdy will take the opportunity to improve on it. TCM in the WaterWorld queue has me most interested... that is a property that deserves a really claustrophobic, tight maze layout and that's definitely going to be the case here.

There's a point here where you have to wonder if Universal knows that despite the semi-disappointing summer attendance levels, no matter what HHN is going to be jam-packed. The swath of pulsing guests through four areas: upper, lower, Metro and Terror Tram is going to recieve a slight upset with a possible fifth being Potter. The obvious issue here is that USH still has these teeny-tiny veins for traffic. In Florida there was such a gratitude for blessing of size. The crowds are heavy, but immensely spread out. (anyone who has attended it knows about just how murderous it is on your feet, almost every maze is practically a hike to it)

Now, it's a given Jabbawockeez (kill me) will be back, and there also may be the possibility of Academy of Villains in Animal Actors. (instead of Bill & Ted because we still can't have nice things and nobody wants to fight for them) If they keep open the semi-horror related Laika exhibit along with Despicable Me, that should help the crowds spilling over to there coming out of Potter, TWDA and the AA stage. The Shrek 4D theater, which seems like an obvious place to put a horror movie preview just to soak up guests will be shuttered despite the fact that it can be used a speedbump for those heading to TCM. I think this is where Universal's planning is put into their faults. They are hesistant to try anything yet are fervently aware that they are loading up the upper lot which doesn't have the ease of flow that literally all the other areas do. Mess that up with a Potter that actually may have to, in a rare situation, keep those return time kiosks active, you're looking at a possible complete mess.

So I'm very curious to see if they prepare for this situation or if they pull a standard USH move and do the opposite. Hmm...

No there's still a possibility of a "Universal Classic Monsters" Scare Zone.

Has it been confirmed in the past that Dorris Day (Or now FvJ) for sure is the house infront of 747 and not in the FDTD spot? Murdy never mentioned it's exact location today.. I also question this because I recently saw a construction picture of the facade via hhnfanboy, and while it does somewhat resemble the NOES house, I can't help but also see some resemblance to the Murder House from AHS..  That large panel on the right hand side can be a support for the rotunda from the Murder House, and the window count seems to match on the left side. Just a thought.

Murdy mentioned that the maze codenamed "Doris Day" will be a Hollywood Exclusive, have a changing scene, and be on the backlot. He didn't state if it was FVJ or TCM but my bet is on FVJ.

He did say that Texas is in Waterworld.. which leaves FvJ on the backlot, but I'm wondering if we know whether it's the tent infront of 747 or the tent in the old FDTD spot? The picture I attached is from the one by 747.

There is a rumor going around (started yesterday) stating they lost a property. Hope this isn't true. But maybe they lost a property and replaced it with FVJ?

No I don't think so. "Freddy Vs Jason" has been planned for quite some time. It was probably "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Blood Brothers" that replaced "The Conjuring".

....I believe in 2012, I can be wrong; that there was a house that would of been located where TCM was of that year, correct? Because if that's the case..I feel pity for them.

That's not to say that i'm not excited for TCM, as it did scare the hell out of me that year; although it's just something to possibly note.

In 2012 Murdy was originally going to do "An American Werewolf In London" but it got replaced with "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre". It wasn't until 2014 that "An American Werewolf In London" was a maze at the event. Honestly this could be another 2012 situation where this year we were originally suppose to get "The Conjuring" but got replace with "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Blood Brothers" but however the concept of TCM Blood Brothers sounds like it was planned from the start of the year but I don't really know. I guess we will find out soon enough...

I agree in that I feel it was planned from the start. I also think that Murdy held off on TCM's announcement for shock value.. To hype up his lineup featuring the BIG 4. Conjuring was probably for sure on the short list, but something might've happened EARLY on or they didn't want to repeat a house with a similar theme to Exorcist. But nothing major to affect the outcome of the house like 2012 I would think.

Actually I just thought of something earlier this year Murdy stated that none of the mazes in this year's lineup would be having the letter "B" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Blood Brothers" has 2 "B"s "B"lood 1 "B"rothers 2.

While that would prove something fell through, I think the subtitles don't count

What would really prove something fell through is the 'J', which IIRC there was supposed to be 2... "Jason" being one of them
