Wouldn't October demo effect HHN's soundstage lines? Unless you mean the sections closer to CityWalk that wouldn't be near house queues.

Probably. But it’s not like they won’t know where the demo is taking place and they couldn’t, you know, plan around it.

Fans are too hung up about the HHN queues. The demo will take priority for the parks, because there is plenty of precedent for PARK additions to take priority over HHN.

Gotta say, I'm really surprised at the closure timing. Too late to move to ops over to Epic for the grand opening, and also in the middle of HHN. Thought it would happen in March when the plans leaked yesterday.

When I walked by a couple weeks ago, I was looking at the area. My thought is they should run an element out over/under the citiwalk sidewalk into the lagoon. Something similar to Hulk's Cobra roll.

I thought about that too! It was part of the original concept for HRRR so it'd be neat if they brought part of that back.

I'm kinda surprised they answered plainly. I would've expected a "there are no announcement yet" kind of message because the news came out of a permit, not the park. But I guess Uni has gotten used to this and had an answer ready to go since it is such a prominent ride.

September 2025 closing is certainly a choice. I guess that means demolition will start after HHN, which to me says the replacement will be coming 2027 (probably summer).

I agree. They should’ve done so much more. Why couldn’t they have a big event with fireworks and have Spielberg, DeCaprio, and Joe Biden and use drones in the sky to announce the date Rockit is closing? Followed by a 24 gun salute?

But seriously though, I think how they went about it was fine. I guess it would’ve been nice to have a short video to make it seem more offical?

I"m sure they'll do an official announcement video or post at some point.

For what it’s worth, WESH 2 News reached out for comment and got this same canned response before the UOR social media team started replying with it. So the official announcement was to the press and not in a tweet, technically.

listen I want rollerghoster too, but in my mind, no way this isn’t fnf. This the way to get rid of Supercharged in my mind. Sorry. Probably if it is fnf, while it may be dissapointing in the short term, it’ll be for the best in the long term.
