So I guess the goal is to get this up and going in time for the Christmas crowds to show up?

I honestly did not expect for this to be closed for 6 months. Wonder if they're making big changes to the theater/stage itself.

I think it’s long overdue building refurbishment work that will unavoidably take that amount of time. They probably figured it was worth freshening up the show if it had to be down that long // they already have the opportunity to make infrastructural changes.

You know, Universal basically recreating the show in front of the theater without any of the set or movies would be great content.

If I lived in Orlando I'd be here. I love these women.

Just saw a closure date through November 19, 2026. Still fall but maybe considered winter for Orlando folks.

I really hope they don’t try to get clever here. The show just needs to provide a structure for the very, very talented performers to improv and bounce off the audience - keep it simple. That post above increases my concern.

Because they’re redoing the lobby and stage. Not spending 6 months on a rewrite.

Same, Robyn and Summer were the last hosts I saw and they're absolutely wonderful together. They volley such an infectious, chaotic energy which is perfect for the show.
