Checked out FACES OF DEATH recently.

Didn't expect much, but I was very surprised. Dacre Montgomery is terrifying and gives an exceptional performance. The gore is top-notch, and I really enjoyed the overall story. Very appropriate in this day and age with social media. Arthur's outfit is really simple; however, the way he moves and sneaks his way around in it turns it into genuine nightmare fuel. The red contact lenses are a great touch.

Was expecting the 1979 Dracula movie starring Frank Langella to be pretty boring, but was pleasantly surprised to find myself into it mostly. The color grading is a bit divisive though.

The Blu-ray release from Scream Factory has the original theatrical color timing included, and it looks great.

Underrated movie. Strays a lot from the novel, but the production value is very high, and John Williams' score is excellent.

Caught up with Faces of Death last night and I believe I should be given a Medal of Courage for making it through.

Might not be just the dumbest movie of 2026 but the dumbest horror film in the past decade. No nuance, baffingly bad characters, a mind achingly intrusive score, horribly written, cringely over acted, insipid direction. I am not a fan and I would be shocked if I see a film I like less in the big 26.

Good riddance.

On the other hand, Buffet Infinity is a trippy analog horror that, while slightly long in the tooth, brings some great laughs and a nice big cup of cosmic drenched horror to the party. If you like films like WNUF or certain V/H/S segments, Adult Swim style horror shorts or Internet based ARGs, you'll enjoy this. Great little refresher after FoD.
