I highly doubt it'll open during Grinchmas. I'm going to say Late Jan, early Feb at the earliest. They're still framing the interiors.

You never know. A lot can happen in 2 months. I think they'll at least finish up the exterior.

I think scaffolding will be down by early December the latest. From what it looks like in the image shared above, they're painting over the sheathing. A good sign the exterior is almost finished.

I honestly doubt it.  January looks more like a completion date to me on this one.  Although Springfield was built in under a year

The project Murdy's working on is set to open sometime in the next year. That being said, it might be the HoH replacement, since that's set to open next year as well, and a Walking Dead attraction was rumored to be there (as Alex said).

Sally Corporation is the company that did the Justice League: Battle for Metropolis 4D shooting ride for Six Flags. That being said, we could be getting our first interactive ride at USH. Also, if it's screen-based, it wouldn't require a ton of room, so it could potentially fit in the HoH building. Furthermore, if this ends up coming to Universal, they can keep it open during HHN as a way to keep TWD at the event AND make room for new maze properties.

Sally's going to be really busy in SoCal if they really will be installing a Walking Dead dark ride for next year at USH.

If Universal hired Sally to make a TWD attraction, there's no way in hell this would be leaked like that, and there's zero reason it would be on display at IAAPA.

And why would they hire Sally to fully design it? They have their own in-house team... who made MIB!!

Universal owns the haunt rights, not the theme park rights. It's not Universal, period.

Considering that Murdy's attraction is set to open next year, we are overdue for a leak.

Well I can tell you that there's no way that a dark ride, which hasn't been announced by USH yet, can be built and opened in 2016 at this rate considering the state of the stage 28 plot.

Also, I highly doubt Murdy's attraction is huge (and a ride) and will be in the HoH replacement.

I'm willing to make bets about this TWD thing. Even Robert Niles shrugged about the ride's possible location... if it was Universal he wouldn't be as genuinely uncertain.

I think Sally is shopping this thing for random locations, whoever wants to buy it. Hell, this could be them competing with Triotech for Cedar Fair's heart. Sure, they can take their Boo Blasters ride and make a fun (but dumb) Triotech, OR they can let Sally redo their own ride (less R&D costs) with a killer franchise attached.

Inside of the building is completely bare. Just a shell with steel beams, and duct work, they haven't started on the inside. Unless they REALLY go fast, I think the inside will only be completed after Grinchmas....maybe sooner if they ramp it up, but it's literally bare inside.
