During my visit to Epic, of course I had to visit Isle of Berk. What a well-done area. This is absolutely the best kid's area Universal has done. I haven't seen the movies before but managed to cram all three to make sure I saw them. Glad I did as it helped me to appreciate the land a lot more. The area did remind me a
lot of Parc Asterix in France as there was a lot of similar theming in that park. So for me, the area had a very European feel to it.
I'll start off with talking about the land: Wow it is huge! At least it feels huge. The whole area is well-detailed, packed in with a lot of stuff to do and very "complete". It's also great that this is the one land with the most amount of stuff to do. It was also cool seeing some roaming animatronics.
Hiccup's Wing Gliders is a really solid family coaster. I watched a POV beforehand, but after riding it, I just realized the genius design of the coaster: The layout was designed to make it feel like your ride vehicle was "flapping" up and down with the wind. It may seem obvious, but when I went on the ride and realized there are "wings" at the front, that's when I realized. While not Hagrid's good, this was a lot of fun! Got two rides on it. Perfect ride for the whole family.
Dragon Racer Rally was a really fun flat. Right when I finally got the momentum going to spin all the way, the ride ended.

Didn't do Fyre Drille as I didn't feel like getting soaking wet lol.
Untrainable Dragon was a really cool show! Toothless flying over the theater was definitely the highlight of the performance. While not my favorite show in the resort (That honor goes to Bourne), this was my favorite in the park.
Also, the Toothless meet and greet was wonderfully done. My sister adored it! The expressions on his face made it feel like I was petting an actual dragon! Honestly the highlight of the land behind the coaster. We got Twig to interact with us and my sister brought up how we had a little wingless dragon (A cat) that loved to knock stuff over. When Twig asked Toothless if he liked to knock stuff over, his eyes grew big. Whoever thought to have a Toothless meet and greet deserves a raise because that was great! My sister loved getting to pet a big sky puppy.
Isle of Berk is great! It ranks probably my second favorite land overall, with Dark Universe being my favorite. While I didn't eat there, I got to check out the Meade Hall (Food looked bangin' though!) Loved how big the whole interior was. Speaking of food, I did get the Mac and cheese cone, specifically the chicken one. While it tasted amazing, they were a little stingy on the meat. Kinda sucks consdiering the prices but at least it was good!
