I hate to say it because I'm always rooting for HOS and SWO but this event was just not good this year. I visited this past Saturday and I'm shocked that last year somehow had better houses? Not sure what the point was of building 4 new houses if they weren't going to be incredibly well done or well-populated with scare actors. They were near-barren.
The one exception was Water's Edge. Super solid house. Also, the returning one from last year, D3LER1UM666, was still solid albeit really short. I liked how it was a bonus house after waiting in line for Ultimate Gamble so even though the wait was long due to pretty non-sensical pulsing, at least it was a 2-for-1.
