Any News on the Status of the SWS T-rex? Was it really destroyed?

As far as I know, that was only a rumor.

I think if it was going to be coming back someplace new, it probably would have by this point. Which is a bummer.

honestly they cant keep the jp3 spinosaurus and get rid of the rex. Id hope it would be going somewhere important if it's not returning

If it's the only option, I'd absolutely much rather have the Rex go in the Spinosaurus spot, for sure.

So excited to ride in October, hopefully any kinks are worked out by then.

Not sure how I feel about the masks in the photo. Obviously they’re necessary for now, but I’m more looking forward to when we don’t need them anymore. I’m sure they’ll just switch out the photo for non-Covid times though.

Yeah the arch thing is super interesting.... hopefully it’s not an exaggerated concept and they’re actually going to put one up around the track in the helix area

Seems like if they were going to build an arch to go under, then they would have been building it before that section of the ride was finished. Maybe they could have some prefabbed arch already built and just drop it in? But that wouldn't work as the crane is gone. And are there any footers for it anyway? Don't know, but it would be nice to have one!

If they built an arch over the track it would have to be done before pull through

That arch is clearly just artistic license.

I hope it's not a preview of what they're planning to do to the land's entrance arch, though.

Close, but not quite. I don't think the arch on River Adventure has the flames.

I've certainly seen less videos of it testing recently

I always get nervous when an Intamin goes radio silent
